More than enough.
Just make sure to dodge explosions and save your serenity for them.

The main thing i want to say is that the difference between 1000 res and 700res is not 30% more dmg. It is more likely less than 10% more damage due to diminishing returns. The same goes for 8k and 11k armor. You can check and see for yourself. As such, having a bit less resistance and armor and more dmg (from Ias, crit and chance on non-weapon items) is going to help you.Posted in: Hardcore Discussion
Frenzy with maniac gives an extra 20% dmg (including to leap and rend) and a great attack speed. As you already have rend for mobs and i doubt you can hit all the 3 elites with bash, Frenzy would be my first choice here instead of bash.
As I have recommended reducing your armor and resistance you need to have something to get you out of tight spots: that would be Ignore Pain instead of Sprint (I know that low movement speed sucks, but A3 has a lot of mobs so you don't have to move a lot around actually between fights). Ignore Pain and Leap can allow you to get out of any sticky situation (without lag ofc).
The barbarian has 2 great passives for dmg. I would try replacing one of the armor passives for the one of the dmg passives (the one that gives the least armor for the one that gives the most dmg). This 2 changes (passive and frenzy) should get you to 45k dps when you have 5 stacks of frenzy. You can even try to change both armor passives for dmg passives (if you are using a sword; I can ressist in A3 with 7.5k armor, 600 all ress and 50k life).
I hope this helps.

Back to lvl 1 Leaped into a pack that didnt let me out again. I think I dont like leap too much afterall ^^
I actually realised that furios charge with the last rune is really really great (8% heal per enemy hit). You don't use leap/furios to go into them, but to get out of them

Regarding leveling: I am currently a level 52 barb and I have half your damage and only 22k dmg. at the moment.Posted in: Hardcore Discussion
You need to play HC like you are always scared, especially when you are leveling and you don't know what will happen:
Frenzy (with any rune general, maniac is the best, but it requires lvl 59) for single target and rend for multiple targets (with the 2nd rune, life steal) help you take care of most things.
Ignore Pain is a must have from my point of view (the rune that increases duration).
Wraith of the Berserker is good (the extra damage rune or the dodge rune). Instead of it you can use stomp (with increased range which works great with rend)
Two warcries are a bit too much at the moment and Ignore Pain is better than Revenge as your main problem will be elites/bosses and not necessarily huge mobs. You would prefer extra life on the rune of warcry instead of extra armor (at this moment that extra armor gives less dmg reduction).
I would replace Seismic Plan with Leap (Shockwaves) as that is a great escape mechanism and allows you to move faster as well.
Regarding passives you are good. You could replace Tough Nails (it gives less armor than Nerves of Steel) with Inspiring presence. WIth the new Warcry Rune, Inspiring Presence and your life you would regen around 0.8-1k life/sec which is actually great for all the DOTs in the game.
I hope this helps.
I am also waiting for an answer regarding level 60 (btw WW barbs do not work so great on HC, especially when you first level your character).

I would like to thank you all for this information.Posted in: Hardcore Discussion
However, as a first time player on HC, how do I make that first 1-2 million so i can farm A3 on mp0?
Should i stay on hell in A3 or A4 or on Inferno A1 until I make that money or where?

1. I have bought Inna's armor and it should be updated shortly on my char on battle.netPosted in: Monk: The Inner Sanctuary
2. Changed passives and added additional stats in the first post
3. What is the life with lifeleech now? Is it working better than before? I knew life on hit was the way to go...
4. I agree that gems are worth it, but:
a. I really want that extra xp...
b. 2 emeralds are 35kk. Quite a steep price for 40% crit dmg...
c. I will buy a life gem for the helmet for beating the uber bosses (this was a no brainer, but it seems I just got a brain now).

I have looked for decent weapons with lifesteal, crit hit dmg and socket and the best i have found is one with 2.2%, 55%+ and socket at 950 dmg.Posted in: Monk: The Inner Sanctuary
I think my current weapon is better.
Any other ideas for items? Like shoulder/ammy/belt etc?

A4>A3>A2>A1 in terms of xp. There was a comparison graph on the front page of the site a couple of weeks ago.Posted in: Monk: The Inner Sanctuary

Here is my character: http://eu.battle.net...1/hero/15102566Posted in: Monk: The Inner Sanctuary
Attacks per Second: 1.84;
Crit Chance (without scoundrel): 38.5%;
Crit Dmg: 301%;
Life per Hit: 1298;
Life Steal: 0%;
All ress: 637 (67.98%);
Armor (as shown in town with seize the initiative): 4541 (60.22%);
Movement Speed: 12% (without fleet flooted).
I want to be able to farm for the Infernal Machine and beat A3 on as a high MP as possible.
I will be getting a Hellfire ring soon as well so no point in recommending another ring.
- recommendations for passives (including one combination of passives that does not include fleet flooded)
- recommendations for items (bought Inna's Armor, just waiting for it to be updated on battle.net)
