That calculation might work for like 200-300 str weaps, but what about weaps with no str at all? Are they just that useless? (I'm planning on using a 2-hander btw).Posted in: Barbarian: Bastion's Keep

Hey,Posted in: Barbarian: Bastion's Keep
Rather than using DPS spreadsheets all the time, is there an estimated relation between DPS and strength on weapon. I mean fx. is a 1300 DPS and 300 str weapon, better than a 1500 DPS and 0 str weapon?
I know this isn't a static calculation, but it should be possible to make some sort of average for an endgame geared barb.

I know LoH isn't always that appriciated, but for me it actually helped quite a bit. I got an offhand with 750 LoH and 2.5% lifesteal. It's only offensive stats is 60% crit damage (fixed, not socketed) and 800-isg DPS. Still it has been the best upgrade i ever made, since i can basicly heal myself from 0 to full in a single invulnerable.Posted in: Monk: The Inner Sanctuary
Also a bit more resist all might not hurt...

With the right build, and some decent damage, 600 resist should be oka for act 2, in my experience. For act 3-4 you're going to need more.Posted in: Monk: The Inner Sanctuary

Patience does not work with phasebeasts really, their constant teleports makes kiting impossible as mentioned earlier. Tbh I am getting a bit sick of the insane variation in mob difficulty. Random properties for the purpose of varied gameplay is fine by me. But most of the time, D3 is just a russian roulette. If you unlucky you die. No matter what...Posted in: Monk: The Inner Sanctuary

I got resolve and my gear deffinitly ain't bad. But as almost everyone else, I can't just tank the mobs (i use dualwield). Normally I can just kite a bit, and its fine. But with Phasebeasts and other teleport mobs, there is no such thing as kiting and i'm dead in no time.Posted in: Monk: The Inner Sanctuary
But i guess that's just a result of Blizzards plan of forcing people to use shield...

How are you guys handling elite packs of Hulking Phasebeasts (act 3). They hit like a truck, and are absolutely uncontrolable. I got 820 resist all and 6.000 armor with Mantra of Evasion (hard target). And an elite pack with no special attributes can rip me to pieces in less that 3 seconds. And unlike most other packs you have difficulties with, they cant be outrun, because of their teleport.Posted in: Monk: The Inner Sanctuary

I believe the recipes has levels as all other items. That means that you are more likely to find the good recipes in the higher acts. I'm not sure though...Posted in: Diablo III General Discussion

Hey all,Posted in: Diablo III General Discussion
Does anyone know if there is a connection between the recipes know, and the ones that drop to you?

One thing to look at is your critical hit damage. I'm currently at +170% damage on crits, and I find that to be a little low. So with your +74% there should be quite a bit of damage to obtain in this area.Posted in: Monk: The Inner Sanctuary
