Let us remember there was talk about rift keys being restricted based on difficulty during beta... this could effect something.

Game review companies have not played it yet either. Which us why there is no review. I remember threads like this for d3v. It's an online only game there is no advanced copy for game review sites to play.
This is exactly true. Blizzard really hasn't had a game that was able to be played in advance for review purposes in a long time I don't think a very long time at that.

As someone who will be doing a review for Reaper of Souls and have played the beta I'm going to give it a campaign complete (Act 5) and some bounties/rifts to see any changes from beta before I give my final score. But I will likely give it a 8-9/10 depending on how the launch goes and again... depending on what changes from beta to full release.

    posted a message on Headsets
    Quote from Enty

If you're looking for ease of use, and everything built in no fuss no muss then a headset is the way to go. If price isn't an option then get one of the higher end ones. Razer Megalodons and Astro A40's have been my two favorite headsets so far. I broke my megalodons and wanted to try out A40's and they've lived up although not quite as comfortably. A lot of people swear by TB XSevens but I personally dislike the weight, and leather padding on the headphones, plus to me almost every TB besides the X1 sounds too tinny to me. With the megalodons and Astro's you feel a little more thump in your bass, and the low end fills out better. Trittons to me have a similar problem to TB's although they're slightly better. Steelseries makes Siberia's which are hugely popular and the D3 headphones are basically re-branded Siberia V2's and they are good although I don't think they're as detailed and open as the higher end headsets, and they lack the comfort of the A40's and Megalodons to me. I haven't tried out Krakens but I hate leatherette padding so I'm positive they won't be good for me, and Tiamats I haven't had a chance to try but I've heard some good things about them. Beware though, Dedicated 7.1 is pretty gimmicky. I'm not going to lie, it sounds like it'd be better but sometimes the drivers get in the way of eachother and stuff comes out slightly more muddy and mixed. I'm much more in preference to digital surround in a headset. IF you want true surround a speaker system is the only way to go.

There are tons of options, so my best recommendation is go somewhere where you can try on different headphones and listen. Gamestop has all the TBs on display so you can go there to feel them and try them out. A40's you'll have to go off reviews, same as Razer, and tritton. A place liek B&H might have some audiophile headphones you can try and see which you'd prefer if you're going that route. Find what your ears like, are they sensitive to higher pitches, do you hate the boom from the bass, what fits you will be decided by you. My ears aren't yours and I can only recommend what I hear so I'd definitely go check them out before you purchase. IF you can't try them out, then listen to music on shitty headphones. See if you can stand some tinny sounds, see if you don't mind muddy bass. Then read extensive reviews on the different headphones, See what reviews have to say. Is it too high pitched, is there an EQ, too much bass, uncomfortable, breaks easily. Stuff like that should factor into what you want.

Hope this helps a bit, have fun!
    +100 to Enty's post

Myself I'd also reccomend Astro A40 (or 50's for that matter). I've owned both as well as a Razer Megladon and for sure the Astro headsets are going to be my favorite there. Only downside of the Astro's is the rather high price but damn if they're not worth it imo.

posted a message on Wizard at lvl70?
Well, lets start off with... it's not all that scary with no APoC! The game wasn't intended to be played with enough APoC to 100% uptime on spells, however you still might end up doing that in the end of ROS with high gear levels anyways -_-'. Will take more than before though in terms of planning. The resource regenration still works great for wizards, you might have lower EDPS and will have to put a resource generator in like Electrocute or something but it's how the wizard was meant to be played!

As for sources, they just gave too much damage before. Once you hit 70 they will start rolling about the same as they used to. Except with higher Int and such. I'm going to imagine most wizards will still run 1h/source (I did in the beta as well at 70)

wheres this 2 hours safey net legendary drop come from? Source?
Comes from a Blue post, I can't be assed to find it though if you want to by all means.

I shouldn't have to say this more but like normal Pie is also right people need to chill. Your acting like they are just saying legendaries drop more in torment for laughs at your expence. That's pointless and if you thinks that's the case grow up.

Legendaries drop rate for me now, It's really perfect. Sure sometimes I go a little longer than I wish without legendary drops BUT I get 2 legendaries in rapid succcession as well sometimes.

Also, let me state this from beta experience. The drops at 70 seem to be a bit more balanced for anyone worrying about some items just "sucking" now. After all level 60 items were not desiggned in the beginning with loot 2.0 in mind. Level 70 items were.

A section about Transmog wouldn't go wrong I'm sure.

Just for refrence Whites/500g each Legendaries/(were 500k/each but said going to be lowered hell they might have in the beta and I forgot.)

Where to get patterns, normal white/magical/rare items by upgrading mystic and legendaries by identifying or crafting said legendary post 2.0.1 patch.

I think commonly asked questsions in general chat should be a section. Things that I see asked commonly is "Can I make a crusader yet I pre-ordered" and "What do i do with Adventurer's Journal" (second one be the one asked the most at least 3-5 times a day.)

    Quote from Setsoru

They are slower, assuming you were using fists of thunder/thunderclap, the innate IAS boost is gone from that talent.
All spi regen skills were innate hasted pre patch. FoT just had the highest %. In 2.01 afaik only cw is still hasted(16%). Thats the reason why a lot of ppl. using cw/rising tide.

    OT:

Monk doesnt fell slow at all. You just need to adapt to the new skills/runes. Im doing fine with my monk. Compared to other classes imo only Wizzard damage is thru the roof but monk is still doing great and the best group supporter hands down.
I agree tons with Shinna, I'm actually using Deadly reach with the lightning rune (as part of a lightning build). I just can't stand the slow attack speed of FoT anymore so I switched to something else.

Don't be afraid to experiment with different builds guys!

Yeah, it's active now (NO NEED TO PREORDER TO GET IT).and uhh... it looks like it's multiplicitive... or something odd... I'm getting 743% exp in t1 with HF ring and 27% exp gem in helm... something not adding up properly.

Edit: Took off HFR/Helm and get 500% exp in T1.

posted a message on Imperial Gems?
    Quote from Fizpez

I havent done anything on the PTR and I can't seem to find satisfactory answers regarding Imperial Gems: Please feel free to correct any of my (bad) assumptions:

What I have found/assume to be true:

    1) They will drop like legendaries

    2) They are higher level than Marquis both in terms of rank and effect

    3) They can be combined to make even higher level gems.

    What i can not find:

    a) Are they a continuation of the current gem ordering? (are they really HIGHER than Marquis or the start of some new system)

    B) Did they drop any tiers of gems?

    c) Why the heck are current gem prices through the roof if a potential drop which is literally the equivalent of a thousand or more "flawless square" drops just around the corner with the expansion.

/I'm basically wondering if I made a huge mistake unloading my stacks of flawless squares for HUGE profit or if I just got lucky for once.
Let me just answer everything here as someone who had RoS BETA... now let me just say they COULD have changed things they werent sure about it till the end so ya never know.

    1. Imperial gems will drop in t1 (unless it was changed to master i can't really remember) or higher. They will be rarer than marquise gems drops but not as rare as legendaries, still pretty common from goblins/resplendent chests

    2. They are indeed higher than marquise in both effects, it costs 200k and 3 marquise to craft a imperial.

    3. See 2.

Now, you know thats 100% true :).

    A: Yes, they're really higher.

B: No, all tiers are still there... just most of them are useless. There's just more tiers now.

    C: People be cray cray.
