Agreed, just a regular cache would be fine for me. There should be some incentive for people to complete a game rather than just the 2 bonus reward ones. The only real reason to complete them all is split farming. where blizz doesn't even want you doing that in the first place.
Pretty much with your build, try stacking cold damage, frozen orb damage, electrocute damage.
Pretty much this, check the front page for the legendaries with cold damage. Then add in pieces with frozen orb damage. If you have room on other pieces for Electrocute (you shouldn't really be using it THAT much anyways to matter but if your not sacrificing anything important go ahead). That's the basics, may want to also take a look on the official site at all the legendaries for special effects you may like and look towards farming them as a lot of it can be preference for your overall build.
I'd say give a pretty easy zone a run through on T1, somewhere early in Act 1 and you shouldn't really die. The Weeping Hollow isn't a bad zone to test in.
i did play d3 but i got bored since u have really no reason to play it long time.. so my questions are as follows..
why will i continue to play after i finish campaign?
is there an end game?
why would i want to invest my time to grind my gears?
if im gonna buy this game i want it to be worth it.. hope you can help!
In the end Diablo is a game about getting better and better gear at level cap, that is the end game. There's also paragon levels if your into just raising that (gear comes with that of course in the end all the same grinding really).
Uhhhh stupidest idea ever, what's the point? Why not stay at 50? 40? Oh yeah, because there's no reason to. The game revolves around end game, max level farming- staying 60 is shooting yourself in the foot. All of your arguments for it are poor- you want to wear your 60 gear? Why? What for? Looks? Transmog it. Strength? 70 is stronger. Feelings of attachment? Keep the crap in your stash or make an alt to wear it. I don't see why you're trying to drag a concept from WoW into Diablo when it's a totally different game that isn't locked by levels.
Just because they have a feature in WoW doesn't mean it makes sense in this game (since that's literally all your argument is based off), staying 60 is the stupidest thing you could do if you actually have an interest in playing this game. Are you too lazy to cap and farm for gear? I'm sorry, that's kind of what this game is about.
Waaa hooo whhooo wha?
Sorry but your biggest argument was that the feature is in WoW so it shouldn't be here?
I REALLY hate to break it to you but it was in Diablo 2 wayyy before WoW.
Just making sure you know: You have to complete Act V to unlock Adventure mode. I think you can indeed do Rifts at any level though, there haven't been any blue posts specifically mentioning otherwise.
You only have to complete Act 5 on one character, and you have to do rifts in Adventure mode, other than that no other restrictions exist besides the amount of rift keystones you got.
Being stuck at 60 would kinda exclude you from ever progressing your paragon level, since it requires level 70. Why not just use your legacy items and turn down the difficulty to normal to balance for the lack of item progress. But again I dont really understand why anyone would want to purposely handicap and exclude themselves of any new content just to cling onto items that are basically obsolete after midnight tonight.
I personally wouldn't do it myself as I quite enjoy a new level cap and kind of a fresh start at level 70, all new gear and such. However I can understand people wanting to be able to cap at 60 as well, just equipping level 60 items and switching to normal at 70 won't really suffice scaling changes as well among other problems.
While I don't see a "classic" mode as something too hard to implement as someone else said, it really shouldn't be a priority to implement.
Please correct me if I am missing something, but what forbids you yo use lvl60 or legacy items post lvl60? If you can wield lvl50 weapon while being lvl60 why you can't use lvl60 gear after reaching lvl70...?
While you can use the level 60 gear at 70, you will be fighting level 70 mobs.
What he suggests is be able to cap yourself at "Classic" Diablo 3 level cap of 60 so that your level 60 gear remains as effective as ever while having other characters that are able to go to 70 at the same time.
I have a feeling a lot of people might have thought about this idea but have not made a forum post about it. There should be a way to stop a character's leveling at level 60. I'm sure many people, as I do, have legacy items they just don't want to get rid of and/or maybe keep using them in the future. World of Warcraft has a way to stop experience gain at whatever level you like, and I think it would be fantastic if that was available in diablo for people who purchased the expac who would like an option to stay at 60 if they had the choice. Thoughts? Opinions?
I agree with you, I think it would be a brilliant idea for them to add this. This was a feature of Diablo 2 that they could bring back and I really see no downsides to it. If you havent already I would reccomend posting it on the official forums as a suggestion (Unless there is another post about this there then post under that to show intrest!).
They made comments about wanting to change it but they never changed it during the beta. So, AFAIK it should be the same but ya never know. Always helps to be prepared with all da knowledge!

Alternatively you could try asking a Blizz CM on the official forums or twitter possibly.

Also with that, depending on your current Wizard build "BiS" legendaries can change drastically. Would need much more info than your giving us.
