Right. I guess I should have expected this:) Thanks for the quick answers guys.Quote from GingerAngerAs far as I am aware, it's not viable Zubacz. The critical mass passive has been removed entirely.

Is CMWW still viable in RoS? Have people tried it? Looking through changes, there does not seem to be anything specifically targeted at disabling this build, but I might have missed something and haven't played in ages.Posted in: Wizard: The Ancient Repositories

I found Diablo 3 to be very fun, at first. The story was awful and lacked depth, but the gameplay itself was very enjoyable. Beating Inferno still in May was an impressive feat. Managing to kill Diablo or Azmodan with 5 stacks of NV up was very satisfying. Changing specs just to be able to do a particular fight for the first time (Rakanoth or Ghom), gearing for a particular resistance etc. It was fun.Posted in: Diablo III General Discussion
There was no "impenetrable wall", unless you sucked as a player and/or didn't want to put in the effort.
I don't see the problem with not everyone being able to beat Inferno. There are 4 difficulties, all of them the same, except for monster strength. Why do people feel entitled to beat Diablo 3 on the highest difficulty, regardless of the effort they put in?
Since Monster Power was added we have even more choice in difficulty. My grandma's dog can complete Inferno on MP0 now. But people still whine. AH too expensive? Why do you need the gear? You can run MP6 with gear bought for a 50mil budget. It's been proved many times, by threads and video guides. If you can't be asked to get the 50mil from drops you get, it's about 12 Euro from RMAH.
I'm not saying Diablo 3 is as good as it should be. However whining about the difficulty or the AH prices, like so many in this thread, is completly stupid in my opinion. Nothing in Diablo was ever too hard to beat, when you put in the effort and AH prices are dictated by the probability of drops.
On topic: Public games are running stronger than I remember since launch. There are loads of people playing. So no, the Diablo population is not gone.

Seriously? There are still threads demanding loot buffs and content nerfs? Really? Why would you do that? The gear you need to complete inferno on any class can be bought so cheaply nowadays, it's incredible.Posted in: Diablo III General Discussion
Why would you want more gear? It would just make the game become boring way faster.

I don't think loot is a problem in Diablo 3. Diablo 2 had a very similar loot system and it was fine. Why do you want more loot anyway? To improve the killing speed slightly? Or for the future pvp?Posted in: Diablo III General Discussion
People left Diablo 3 because it was extremely repetative and had a level cap. The level cap is gone, now the paragon levels give people something to strive for apart from loot. The repetition is still there though. Diablo 2 had randomly generated areas, which were also much larger than the areas in Diablo 3. Doing the exact same places of Act 3 over and over gets old very quickly.
The thing I think would restore the glory to Diablo 3 is a randomly generated, endless dungeon mode.

Once you registered it, you can download the game without the physical copy and still play, which I am pretty sure the OP still does.Posted in: Diablo III General Discussion
It's an interesting statement to make though, since the existence of RMAH and the money it gives to Blizzard do seem to be the underlying cause for the biggest problems with Diablo 3. I didn't expect RMAH to have such a negative effect and for a long time I thought it didn't, but looking at many recent changes, I feel they are directed to increase/uphold the amount of small transactions (cheap items, that people buy because they cost very little, but still give 1$ provision) happening on RMAH.

I run with 280 MF unbuffed, before swapping. I skip areas that I noticed take me a long time and are annoying, that means: Keep level 1, battlements and the icefall cave/frost caverns if I see the leaper elites. I don't bother fully exploring the two open areas between areat gate and the bridge. I kill an elite pack every 4-6minutes. With high MF I dont mind killing white mobs especially in big packs.Posted in: Wizard: The Ancient Repositories

To sum my argument against this build up. If you swap out magic weapon, familiar, prodigy, and pinpoint barrier for crystal shell, teleport fracture, illusionist, and force armor respectively you get the following improvements:
You don't get 1-shot.
You don't have to keep kited mobs off screen.
You're never screwed if you're backed into a corner.
You don't have to use the portal/waypoint trick to get past problematic elite packs.
You don't have to skip Ghom or Cydaea.
You don't have to skip nearly as many elite packs.
You don't have to be almost perfect to get through act III with a 5 stack and low repair cost.
Exactly. Perfectly summed up.
As for people criticising us who comment on the negative aspects of this guide - it's not because we like to reprehend everything to make ourselves feel better. I think less skilled players playing glass cannon builds are the ones whining on forums and screaming for nerfs. I expect a person who laically watches this guide, to think the OP is an expert and believe him. And then he will die a lot on every pack and blame the game.

Get the gear from your monk; I presume that's your main char, somewhere in inferno. Dex/all ress will get you started before you upgrade the damage stats with crit, crit damage and more dex.Posted in: Demon Hunter: The Dreadlands

Honestly, looking through the forums it appears that people are more interested in criticising an idea without fully understanding it, than in contributing. From all the classes, only 1 barb and 1 wizard gave any data and the barb didn't understand the word "between" (can't really be surprised - mindless punchies, they are:p)Posted in: Wizard: The Ancient Repositories
Really, if people just spent 2 minutes giving the stats, this project would get somewhere, I am sure.
