Got Belial down to 40% today, made around 15 tries. Below 50% he becomes really nasty, fast attacks, his green circles blow up really fast too.
My stats are 42k hp, ~600 resists+740 physical resist(with shout), 9.3k armor, 14k dps(with frenzy buff). Still want to try a decent weapon with life on hit or a socket at least.
My build looks like this, it was posted on this forums already by other people and it works.
HP pool is nothing on inferno, 40k is normal, 50 is more than enough. But without resists mobs kill you in 2-3 blows even if you have 15k armor. Diminishing returns are harsh, and for 100 armor above 9k you get silly %dmg reduction. And by getting your resists to 700(that is easier than you think) you get 70% reduction of all incoming damage.

still i get one hittet by champs in act 2 info and i ´have farmet all my items from the gold ah items from info act 4.
i dont even think its your build, i have been trying almost every build you can do
tank / dps / kite
Cant do info act 2 as barb... ):
Try dropping 10k-15k health and 4k-5k armor and get resists up to 500+ with shout. That really helps surviving in Act 2. I've soloed it up to Belial already.

Just managed to get a half decent clear of the first part of act II today. I've never played anything but solo barb. While I agree with you guys that the game is heavily biased against melee I think the tuning difficulty is'nt actually too far off. I've got optimium rare lvl60 act I gear in about 90% slots and I can now *just* clear act II. It seems that they have the tuning set exactly right for barb. In that you need 90% of the current act gear in every slot to take on the next act. The problem is that kiting as ranged means you don't have to have that almost perfect gear if you never get hit by anything.
Biggest advice I can give other barbs trying to solo at the moment is to stop stacking vit. This isn't wow and we don't need huge health pools to suck up massive burst so our healers can keep us up. You need to mitigate incoming damage and spread out your mit through equal amounts of armor/resist all/dodge as to make the best of the curve. Also, make sure your using the enchantress, shes by far the best follower imo. Armor buff is huge and her occasional CC is life saving. That and mine does about 2.5k dps.
SS of my build/stats below
Yea, the build is working fine. Enchantress is helping a lot, but I still had to skip some elite packs(those pesky green flies with tp/fast/firechains affixes for instance). When I get decent weapon with 500~ lifesteal and 750+ dps and up my resists to 70%-75% I think act 2 will be a walk in the park.
My mistake was that I did not use leap and enchantress. Leap helps to get away from plagues, walls and arcane beams, and the girl's mass hex often saves ass.

Oh, at last the reply I've been waiting for. Thank you man.Posted in: Barbarian: Bastion's Keep
I have similar stats(45k hp, same armor and a bit more damage), but my resistances are around 100 lower. Well, I'll try to get more resistances and gear up my enchantress, and then post if it helped me.

43k HP, 66% Physical+60% All res, 8k armor, 12k dps(in combat that makes 17k dps with frenzy and berserker passive).Posted in: Barbarian: Bastion's Keep
Act 1 is a real easy walk except for some packs with invulnerable minions. I'm killing Butcher in under 2 minutes with 5 stacks of Nephalem solo.
But Act 2 mobs are just raping me. Even simple demons are quite a problem(those guys with big maces in act 1 smash me for 10k, but in act 2 they already hit for ~30k). The real inferno starts when the first elite pack comes to play, they just kill me in several seconds after WotB+Striding giant wears off.
My monk friend is getting same type of problems. At first we thought we're doing something wrong, but after reading some forums I realized that melee classes are seriously gimped. Maybe in a wizard+dh+wd party barb can do fine in Acts 2-3-4, but solo play is a pain.
Guys who posted they are doing fine in Acts 2+, please post your build and stat page with character info and your party classes. I still have some hope that we're just plain noobs that are doing something wrong...
