If you are getting 2 set out of it the ring can be decent without crit just not great, 3 set not worth it. better off going monk 2 set for the 130 dex and it'll be cheaper, unless you have the gold to get things like a witching hour, but if you had that you wouldn't be worried about buying a crap nats ring.Posted in: Demon Hunter: The Dreadlands

It's intended wizards have had to deal with that with Hydra's for a long time now.Posted in: Demon Hunter: The Dreadlands

Posted in: Wizard: The Ancient RepositoriesQuote from DousheMaking an archon build work past A2? I'd say gold is not a non-issue my friend. And as xareas said, glass cannon builds are not for the starting wizards. They're expensive and can be very frustrating to play. However i'd also like to add that force armor blows in comparison to prismatic. But that's just my 0.02$ :>.
Prismatic armor completely depends how high your resistances already are and what your hp is. under 400 or so resist prismatic isn't worth it you're better off just using force, 400-500ish if your health is under 40k or so you're better off with force armor. The require EH for force armor is 1/3 of whats needed without force armor, if you're at the amount for prism great good for you, but to get that high and keep decent damage the cost is obscene rather then cheaply being able to use force armor with 38k hp and just the resist from int.

Posted in: Demon Hunter: The DreadlandsQuote from BaraelQuote from KishoQuote from Baraelc) Just go "fuck it" and spend a few work days worth of income in the RMAH and get 4 pieces instantly.
It's sort of obvious what Blizzard would like me to do at this point, ain't it?
I like how so many RMAH whiners seem to ignore one fact about it: no matter what item sells (not commodities), Blizz get the exact same amount from it. £1 (or $1, or 1 euro). It doesn't matter if they make the item worth hundreds of real currency, or if they make it so it'll sell for £2. Blizzard get the same cut no matter what. Hell, if anything it'd be worse for them to make super awesome items, because then people will want to sell the item outside of the RMAH (to avoid the cut and get more than £250 from the sale of the item).
I'd like to introduce you to my very good friend, 15%-cut-that-Blizzard-takes-from-all-RMAH-to-PayPal-transactions!
Thats actually paypals transfer fee not blizzard. Paypal always has had transfer fees on purchased items, they just upped the % in this.

I love how you have issues with electricute, but not issues with prismatic armor with resists that low. under what 600 or so prismatic armor is useless, You should swap to Force armor it'll make your life far easier. Oh and if you're having issues with jailer you're using MI wrong MI breaks being jailed.Posted in: Wizard: The Ancient Repositories

With a 2her they also hit significantly harder since the topend of 2hers is far far higher then a 1her. The 1100 dps 1her I have has a topend of 1136 a 2her can go up significantly higher for topend, which is what you want with a crit orb build.Posted in: Wizard: The Ancient Repositories

There isn't really a significant best stat now, or then. Different gearing is ideal for different builds, and different builds are more or less effective for different areas, and different gearing.Posted in: Wizard: The Ancient Repositories

There already is a significant amount of build diversity for wizards, it's just a matter of if you want to use it. I was running a Meteor shower build the other day more effectively then Arcane Orb in the situation. The few skills that need tweaked to not be almost completely required because of how good they are, would require a reworking of wizards nearly from the ground up (MW EA)Posted in: Wizard: The Ancient Repositories
