When the "skill" of a game is directly related to the time sink invested in the game and luck of the instance, no one is honestly going to care how far people get.

Sets will get the new bonuses but normal legendaries will not

I enjoy playing cluster/sentry with cold damage and using bat/prep/gloom to help me play the harder difficulties until I have the gear to one shot everything.

Yes you want to clear as fast as possible, as long as you are clearing somewhat quickly and not dieing on the higher torments I think the extra legendary drop chances are worth it, specifically t6 cache runs.

did 26 pretty easy with really shitty rolled items on my firebird wiz. I got a 29 key I havent tried yet but I need to find some better gear before I try it.

Knowing the best builds endgame is all well and good, but what is just a good overall build until you reach that point? I have a mix of legendaries and rares and can do t1 but its slow as hell and not sure what kind of build I should be using to progress because none of my gear is worth rerolling or optimal. I don't really want to do lower difficulties because I'll be missing potential set pieces

So he/she should run around fist-fighting while waiting for any of them to drop? Devastator is as good as any 1h with a decent roll, even better if you're running a fire spec. Sheet dps is humbug.

He can gamble 2h weapon for 15 shards and use it. 99% it will be better than best rolled devastator.

That number is just unbelievable - and I am NOT saying you're making it up. From what I've seen of the console they seem to fall like rain. Gonna miss that little thrill that the "legendary drop sound" used to give - hell it still worked its magic when a keywarden would drop a key.

Because Blizzard says otherwise? Come on man, he's the first we know about. It's the first time Diablo dies on Inferno Hardcore! This is a big thing! We should just go "meh" because Blizzard claims it's been done? Nah man, I say this is a pretty big thing. The game is officially beaten now (officially as in we now know about it, have screens, videos and such).
