Personally, I am against PvP in Diablo. I watched it screw up WoW for to many years. It's too hard to balance and still keep it interesting.
I love the idea. I hate how it always ends up...
I agree. There's been enough time in the PTR cycle that they could have nerfed it if they wanted to.
Can someone provide a link to the official announcement where it states there will be no Diablo related info at Gamescon?
I haven't had a chance to try it since the PTR wipe, but I doubt even with the damage boost it will be worth using.
Threads like these are a perfect example of why this site needs greater moderation.
Can we please create a dozen more threads on the same subject please? The numerous ones that are on these forums already aren't nearly enough.
Not to mention that these are the official Blizzard forums and the more threads there are, the more the development will see them!
While I do understand where your coming from Bagstone, these forums aren't the place for such posts. If it was constructive and fostered intelligent, thoughtful conversation it would be different.
The honest truth is that these kind of posts rarely do anything to advance the issue.
Not to worry The PTR is not meant to play on it also in the last 2 days. The games still gets terminated after 10 minutes and whatever drop you get will dissapear anyway when the game is off. Happy testing!
I played for over an hour today without any problems.
It's expected at the start of a new season.
It will return before the end of the ptr cycle. Once they have received feedback, and made changes to items so they get feedback on those changes.
I don't have a problem with taking damage during FS.
The problem with FS is that by the time it lands, the mobs have either spread out or moved entirely. Couple that with its low damage output and it's not worth using considering you can mow the mobs down easier with hammers.
They need to make the damage area larger. And increase its damage a bit more.
To be honest, it doesn't affect me In the slightest.
That said, I detest bots and cheats. But the honest truth is they will always find their way into games. In the end, the only defense against them is diligence.

I have a friend that still hasn't finished Diablo 3 normal (he plans to do so the next holydays) that gets VERY angry with all kinds of spoilers. So, yes that spoiler alert is helpful.Quote from Elendiro
Can't believe that there have to be spoiler alerts 1 ½ year after the release of Diablo 3...
Sorry, but your friend is an asshole. Getting outraged at other people because of his own decisions is pretty silly. Spoiler warnings I can understand for the first few days, anything after that is not warranted, though of course there's nothing wrong with having them if they want to.
