    1-22. the fandom speaks.

1-28 now, and for a good reason.

Who on earth would think Diablo 3 is 96-100% finished? I would go for 35-45, and specifically say 40% myself, or circa. That's about when Blizzard announces all of its games, and that fact I know from my uncle's friend who's a technician in the technical support of Battle.net, sponsored of course by Blizzard.

The whole beauty about free looting is that a level 1 can grab from a level 99, that's what makes the game so real. Keep some of the Diablo purity, would you guys? Choice 1, of course.

Although I could care less about this, seeing as I'm not even related to the same country, I would go for Obama from 1 simple point of view- A black president is more of a great change, than a woman president.

On the other hand, seeing a woman running the country might prove useful, as women have far less ego, and more brains when it comes to the matter at hand.

Agree with me or don't, that's the general outline for most women nowadays, and vice versa on men's stupidity to their most count, nowadays.

I am pro and against this.
Against- this will destroy the chance of people to remake their chars, and try to better themselves everytime. There will just be no fun to it anymore. You will not have to work hard for your chars' supremacy.

Pro- This could work if, like you said, you would be able to re-alter a few of your skill points, up to 5 max. And you will be able to reduce them from any given skill points already, of course.

But definitely not all skill points, and not as many times as you want. Once, and you can pick up to 5 skills you wanted to change. A bit like poker card change, though that's up to 3 cards. You get the point.

posted a message on Besides Diablo 3
I cannot believe so many people have voted PRO violating everything that holds Diablo true, classic and pure- and turn it into a nasty MMO. You people should be ashamed of yourselves and take a second look at your fandom now. Diablo is all about keeping it rpg, clean, simple and beautiful. Turning it into an MMO is like taking a fine stake and trying to turn it into a... Mcdonald's hamburger. It's disgusting.

I voted for a new 4th franchise. The 3 games that have literally built Blizzard to it's current glory should not be laid to rest, of course, but new innovations need to take place. Blizzard cannot rely on their 3 champions forever. Times change, for us faithful fans- Diablo, and even warcraft and starcraft, will remain in our hearts forever, but the younger age is taken by effect of more current games, and not just pc games. Other consules are starting to overshadow the pc realm again, and Blizzard has to make an effort in order to keep its fans' quantity full and wanting.

    Quote from "holey-1@useast" »
definitely within 3 months, although it will probly be "We did not buy this site to announce diablo 3" again

I would have to agree. Even if Blizzard had some sort of news even as we speak, they would have to wait a certain amount of time, not too short to keep us tense and eager and not too long to get us yawning and bored. Besides, even if you hadn't noticed yet, Blizzard has always been making news regarding any new franchise and product they announce and/or release on an update time pattern, to keep stability and gain more time for the developers.
This has predated back to warcraft I.

I'm here at work listening to music, and I decide to listen to the music from Diablo 2.

Sure enough I start to feel nostalgiac as all hell. God I miss this game! I grew up playing the first 2.... good times! I always looked at summers as 6 extra hours each day for playing Diablo 2, and when it was time to go back to school, I usually just ended up planning character builds by adding up all of the possible skill points that I could gain (through leveling and through quests), and distributing them on the skill tree that I drew up.

Unfortunately I had to grow up and get a job, so I decided to stop playing, which was about 5 times harder than it was to quit smoking. I was on and off this game from 2003 to 2006, but I gave it up for good a couple of years ago because of my job and my wife - both of which tend to take up a lot of time - the precious time I need to do Mephisto and Bhaal runs and to deck my characters in the most l33t gear imaginable.

... I want Diablo 3 now! Real life be damned... it can't compete with the awesomeness of Diablo. I feel like I would be moving backwards if I were to go back to D2, but if it were 3... that's an entirely new game! I'd be moving forward, baby.

I'm glad I found this forum filled with people who are just as crazy as me about the idea of a Diablo 3. I look forward to being here when the official announcement of Diablo 3 is made. I tried googling Diablo 3 and this was the first result. A lot of other results were saying that there were a bunch of big hints that Blizzard will announce some big games soon... Anxious!

To Blizzard (since they read all of these introduction threads): Please give us D3! Bring meaning back into my life! (No offense to the wife, but great offense to the job because you suck) And please don't make it like World of Warcraft. Stick to the Diablo 2 gameplay.

Edit: And don't be exclusive to Windows Vista. Blech!

    Hi everyone.

    Welcome to d3

Not so much a matter of "hitting a sensitive spot". More a matter of ... someone who doesn't read there is no ETA, and because he is impatient he goes into zomg-liar! frenzy-mode.

Obviously, he doesn't know me either. That's why I gave him a mini-intro via gaming sites links to counter his lack of trust by demonstrating gaming sites consider me high in credibility as to risk or bothering to post my news heads up.

Every moron could patch up a few links, and who's to say it's really you? I could have taken the name of Bill Gates to this account, but that doesn't and won't make me a dime richer.

Yah i kinda hated the non-redistribution of used skill points. But then again that gives the game strategy.

Getting rid of bots would be good. But they just ban accounts that use them anyways. Higher resolution would be nice and no CD would be good for those who lose their CDs.

Simply think of what you want, and be cautious. Redistributing would destroy any new and developing ideas regarding any sort of character. And almost no level service. Game would get boring.

Getting rid of bots- You could never get rid of them all, new versions spring every week.

Higher resolution? Even with a geforce 8800 gtx your resolution of d2 will remain fixed to the game capability. That requires d3 to come out.

The only thing I might agree on here is removing the possibility of re-insertion
of the damn cd. Oh well, after 8 years I've kinda got used to it anyways. No point complaining now, is there?

    Welcome to the forums!

Softcore being presumed to be claimed as normal, as hc is on the minority side. All the same, good to have you here, newcomer. Not that I'm such a gozu poster here ~~

I only come by every now and then, since the d2jsp hotlink is very next to this one, and it occasionally captures my sight in the corner of my eye. No disrespect meant.

Anyway, enough pratting. Just welcome :)
