Given the info we have, i'm completely clueless at his point. Multiple occasions for an expansion for D3 have passed with literally ZERO news, so if i have to imagine something about the future of D3 i think they will reveal some sort of big-ish patch with a revamped paragon system and maybe something else than GRs to progress with a character (not tied to ladders). Or better it's what i hope for without going too high with expectations.
Other than that i don't know. Given the lore and story of Diablo, it makes sense for a game with an environment like Dark Souls/Bloodborne due to the grimdark setting. Also the cliffangher we have now about Nephalem being so strong and easily corruptable can open up some sort of two-factions environment that opens up to PvP, while all Nephalems can fight together both Angels and Demons to protect Sanctuary.
Overall i think it's a good setting that covers both single (becomes like a Skyrim/DS) and multiplayer (MMO or co-op) options. Combat/gearing would need to have a MAJOR role howwever, since they're the trademarks of a Diablo game.
But in the end, i really expect nothing but some sort of "meh" things like a retrospective due to teh anniversary of the franchise and while D2HD would be nice, it won't be anything relevant due to its archaich gameplay system which will be appealing only for a small subset of players.

i'd really like a 2.5 mini-expansion patch, laying some groundwork for x2 and patch 3.0.
a bit of content map-wise, revamps to existing systems and addition of new systems and COMMUNICATION. after maybe nine to twelve months the release of x2 and the franchise is saved if the expansion is good.
but we need changes. something. anything. QoL changes for example. something like transmog for d3 and wow did wonders to do something other than just romping through rifts. jeez, do something with the interface. incorporate elements from turbo hud or something. get creative! d3 looks and feels the same it did back when they released vanilla.

hey everyone.
apparently diablo 3 turned four years on may 15th. no news, no thread? there was a blue post ( http://www.diablofans.com/blizz-tracker/topic/62374-happy-birthday-diablo-iii ), but nothing else like an event or something.
why the radio silence about this birthday?

what we really need: SOMETHING from blizzard. are they going to bake some functions from turbohud into the standard ui (or as an option) and forbid the use explicitly? will they crack down on real botters? or are both allowed? if so, please say it so that everyone is on the same level.
but we get nothing. except a slaughtered calf inn. strange state this game is in.

hu, haven't played d3 for about a week or so (gta 5, heroes of the storm, real life) and seemingly missed the end of the "event". i got two or three not cow levels, never felt like an appropriate way to celebrate three years in this struggling game. sad to see, the potential was there.
could have acted like a carrot-on-a-stick: temporary buff to xp and legendary drop rates for (crazy idea incoming) everyone below rank xxx in the leaderboards so that the competetive play isn't touched and a permanent gift for the loyal players. the gift could have been a small new zone with a small, maybe fourth-wall-breaking story in adventure mode world and that new zone as a new (g)rift level. complete with one or two birthday achievements.
nothing too much, satisfying all tastes and having a lasting thing instead of a few videos of not cows in a non-existent cow level.

jeez, man up already.

sorry for the ranting, but thumbs up for the effort!

gehennas is craftable, so you could excite yourself by crafting them.

ever since i long for clearing the known path in act 3 with my other chars as well for the sake of change (have all classes maxed out), but i can't because every progress i do on another char is progress my barbarian won't get.
here's hoping blizzard changes their stance sometime.
