I think we'll be seeing one of four things when pvp is put in.

    1. Massive damage nerfs to class' and helath nerfs for monsters across the board
    2. Crit damage nerf (very likely)
    3. A debuff system to nerf our damage or to raise our health in pvp
    4. Guild wars 2 style game play that they put in wow in their challenege modes where everyone has an item level of X even if you're level 1 or 60 you'll have the same item level as everyone else but maybe do 1 or 2 points of damage more than the other person.

    Also

    Beta key would be awesome!

I think it's safe to say that a primary stat would also be on the list of enchants, but she could have added special affix's instead of those 4. chance on hit to cast poison nova, chance on hit to summon a guardian, those types of enchants would be great along with the optional crit, crit damage, ias, socket and primary stat.

I don't think she got useless, I think she is going to be a feature for the xpack when they bring in charms and jewels, i just wish they add sapphires, diamonds and skulls and make them useful because the current gems suck dick. I'm a barbarian derp I use str gems in my gear and a crit damage gem in my weapon. With the paragon leveling system (band aid system) its pointless to use an amethyst gem in you're helm unless you're level 100, the emerald in the helm is pointless because of the gold find cap, the topaz in the helm is pointless because of the magic find cap and not to mention pointless to use in weapons, the ruby is pointless to use in the weapon also. Did I miss any?

You missed the point of my response and to not quote x5 something yes I understand that their liable with their shareholders and they only have to tell their shareholders the truth. When it comes down to us, the players, undocumented changes go though and it is pointless to list every single change that happened in a patch; however, something as important as grimoire of sacrifice nerf is patch note worthy. The gold cap in WoW the reason why they don't increase that upon server transfer is not because a small % of the players don't have 50k. There is another reason Why they're not doing that, most likely to combat china farmers from moving their product from account to account. That is a big reason why I don't believe every word Blizzard says.

Lets get off the topic of wow, because this is the Diablo forums.

Lets here everyone's opinion on why the mystic npc was not included in the release of the game.

    Wow...seriously?
Were you awake/alive/conscious when D3 was launched?

They didn't realize 10 million people would buy their game. Who would've? Most people said it'll sell like 2mil. I guess Blizz predicted 5 at most.

Pleas tell me you guys are joking.......

How is this a joke. I honestly believe them when they say they were unprepared for the numbers. And its not just the fact that 10 million people bought the game (it was actually around 7 at launch i believe), it was that many people hitting the server system with everything at the same time. Ask the people who got into games on launch and it wasn't that unstable (at least for me it wasn't outside of the occasional crash or kick).

How many games let alone publishers support games this far after launch (outside of MMO markets), and of those how many support the games to the degree diablo has received.

If we look at where we are from where we were there has been a lot of progress made and we also need to think about how much of what we want is being delegated to the xpac instead of a patch. Intact isn't the only major thing in the pipe PvP at this point (whenever that decides to come out)?

How is it not a joke? Look do you believe Blizzard in general when they talk about World of Warcraft and the shit they spew? We are lucky that Diablo has not reached that tipping point and that undocumented changes get no attention from blues. Let me give you a few examples. Find me the patch notes and the blue post that talks about the nerf to grimoire of sacrifice for warlocks in their newest patch, it no longer gives chaos bolt % damage like many other skills; however, it was changed to give chaos bolt a dot that you can clip for a dps loss. We found out about it not from official sources but rather through non Blizzard people/ptr/in the live game. If you can find me where a blue tells you about that spell than I must apologize for this example.

This was posted on the EU forums about server transfers and the gold cap. http://blue.mmo-champion.com/topic/241237-gold-cap-on-server-transfer-will-it-be-increased/

Do you honestly believe that only a small % of players have over 50k gold on their account? I have 139k on my account. you can make gold in wow so fucking easy and that is one of the reasons why they put in the black market auction house to try and take some gold out of the economy.

I don't believe them for 1 minute when they spew that kind of crap about being unprepared for these numbers this is Diablo 3 we're talking about the most anticipate game of the year because of the epicness of Diablo 2. I bet you also believe that they spent 10 years developing Diablo 3 don't you? Well you're wrong they didn't start until atleast 2006/7 because they announced their project at Blizzcon in 2008 or 9, I forget witch Blizzcon it was announced at.

I am a gamer and a fan and enjoy Diablo 3. Your facts fail for me. And if a fact fails even the slightest it's no longer a fact.

    THIS.

Plus, all this Jay Wilson bashing recently... gosh, just because he essentially kicked all the PvP lovers in their asses by delaying the blog post? As a PvE D3 fan, I even liked this, yeah, so I guess I have to praise him. Has anyone of you ever heard the saying "DON'T SHOOT THE MESSENGER"?

    Hi you must be new.

The thing is Jay isn't the messenger, hes the leader for the D3 team and delaying the pvp blog post was not a smart move in this time of crisis. One of the worst things to do is to with hold information and feed back that the players DESERVE! After voicing our concerns and the mountain of bitching, moaning, and anal shit fest, the least he can do is give us as much insight into the company and D3 team as they can but I digress.

We must remember how he and his team acted on facebook saying "fuck that loser" to our lord and savior David Brevik after he was interviewed.

    http://kotaku.com/59...cebook-bitching

What a fucking joke of a D3 team and they deserve the bitching if they are not going to listen to the players. I wish I had the power to act with force to get shit done, but all you babies out there would cry to much about it. But lets just say if I could, If I was in charge I would be gaining a huge amount of insight and the inner workings of their company and you know what I would do? I'd pass a company policy forcing the team leaders to talk to the public about what is wrong with the game and what to do to fix it. You all think I may be a troll posting in this thread; however, what I say, I say out of concern for the longevity of the game.

I know it's more than just flipping a switch for the lights and understand that the wiring has to be wired the right way or else the electricity wont go though the wires to power the light bulb. But what I don't understand is the fucking stupidity of the game decisions and lack of response for the Diablo community.

Want to know how to fix your game? Add all that shit you had in the beta (good god if you can even call max level 13, skeleton king quest a beta) there used to be a mystic which provided enchants and holy fucking shit if that mystic could add sockets to items guess what? that amazing weapon you found that would be awesome if it had a socket would now beable to have a socket and you can use instead of vendering. The list goes on, don't even get me started on quests.

Here explains what's wrong with itemization in D3, and I hope you could make a video focused about it. http://imageshack.us...fographic.jpg#1

Best image ever! But everyone is forgetting another reason why Diablo 3 sucks big flopy donkey dick and it is the quests. Right now we get gold, whoop de fucking do gold, what the fuck am i going to do with this 500 or 1000 shitty pieces of gold. Oh but hold on we can get nephlium valor stacks, again whoop de fucking do derp derp derp.

Let us take a look at Diablo 1. Our 1st quest was to kill the butcher (some times it was the poison water supply) after the butcher almost caught up to us and preceded to brutally rape you and to throw your corpse on a meat hook after (the rogue or sorcerer and some times warrior when hes trying to run away) we kill him. That was an epic encounter that gave you nightmares when you heard "Fresh meat" and after we got to use the butchers cleaver, which you guessed it lasted for various levels untill you replaced it.

How about that for a first quest? you get the butchers weapon!

Lets look at Diablo 2 quests the quests in this game that impacted your character the most was the: Skill point quests in every act. stat points, life potion, and all resist scroll. But the other quests. Charsi will imbue a white item to make it a rare, you get discounted prices in act 2 from Atma, you get to shatter a sould stone upon the hellforge in act4 and it rains gems/runes and in act 5 you get to socket an item.

Lets look at Diablo 3 quests, Shut up and take your minimum wage pay cheque and get out of my office before I fire you.

Now I don't know if any of you can connect the dots but getting a free socket, having it rain gems/runes and imbueing items were all quests that everyone remade characters for and leveled them/rushed them though the acts and difficutlys. That added replayability.

Now the best quest which should be in Diablo 3 from Diablo 2 is the hellforge quest. The current gems in this game is a fucking joke and laughable at best and the only way to get a top tier gem is spending millions of gold upgrading gems, we have no other way of getting them.

    Edit:

While everyone did rush characters though normal, nightmare and hell for the quests, you could not get past act 5 with a level 1 without exploiting OR clever use of game mechanics, and so normal was 20, nightmare was 40 and hell was 60 for level caps.

Speaking of replayability, there are achievements in this game that require you to level two of the same class that gives no benefits besides epeen flexing. Now if there was a hellforge quest in Diablo 3 or a socket quest I would totally level the same class twice for those quests alone and you know what? That helm of command that i just crafted I can add a socket to it or that weapon with amazing stats that is missing a socket, I can add that socket to that weapon for fuck sakes, niggas do you understand what i'm trying to say here? Taking a weapon that you would normally not even pick up due to it not being IL63 or that you would vender. Seeing such weapon being totally amazing for you if it had a socket, well good news you can add that socket and use the fucking weapon instead of vendering it.

Did i just blow your fucking mind at the concept of taking a shitty item and making it a useable item?

One of the biggest problems with Diablo 3 is the team working on Diablo it self because they are not experienced in ARPGs, also fuck jay wilson.

Well I'd say they are doing one hell of a good job. Diablo 3 is still 3rd most played RPG after WOW, and a little behind GW. I've been playing since launch and I still really enjoy playing the game even with pvp not out yet. But I agree that there are many things that could use improvements and polishing. Luckily they are still working to make improvements so we know they are coming at some point. Imo people should keep giving more constructive feedback. I'm quite tired of every gaming forum of any game most of the posts are just whining and not giving any real feedback. Hopefully that would change at some point so it would be fun to read forums and see different ideas and improvements people come up with.

ARPG = action role playing game which is Diablo and not WoW or GW2, its alright people get it mixed up every now and then. A good way to remember ARPG just think of slaying everything in sight with your fully erect penis and not giving a fuck, in RPG games like WoW and GW2 you need the help of multiple erect penis' to take down boss'. On the note of everyone bitching about the game and not giving feed back. We are giving feed back by bitching and moaning because without that the Diablo 3 team wouldnt know what is wrong with their game. Lets not forget that they hardly listen to us anyways when we give true feed back and point out flaws. They just shrug us away when we do that, telling us what is fun for us or when we comment on their procedures about bots. It is very easy to get the botting problem under control yet they refuse to listen to us. Its not rocket science to look at who is doing what, oh i see a barb with full gold find gear and gold radius on 24/7 and has never set foot in inferno hmmm hes a real player let him pass.

As I am listening to your video, I have to agree with everything you guys say. One of the biggest problems with Diablo 3 is the team working on Diablo it self because they are not experienced in ARPGs, also fuck jay wilson. Another thing that made Diablo 2 a great game was the stats you could add every level and the skill trees.

Also keep this in mind though Diablo 2 had its share of problems; however, they were addressed over time and Diablo 2: Lord of Destruction is when the game shined the most. But you know what? Diablo 2 before the Lord of Destruction was still in a better shape than Diablo 3.

    edit:

ALMOST FORGOT ABOUT THIS! The quests holy shit man, the quests in Diablo 1, Diablo 2, Diablo 2: Lord of Destruction, they all gave unique rewards in terms of items, gems/runes (hell forge runs), consumable scroll that increased resistances. In Diablo 3 they give us gold.......

The fucking horadric cube niggas! need I explain more!?

posted a message on Tank Demon Hunter Build Guide
I've been using this build/gear set and I find that it only works well for act1 and act2, in act 2 there are a few problems like hitting enrage timer on Belial. I tried using this build in act 3 and it barely works; however it does work wonders on boss' such as Ghom and Seigebreaker and in act 4 it works on Izkatu. Before I fight Izkatu I get rid of shadow power in favor of vault because standing too long in the fire ring will kill you. This build does not work for Rakonnoth because he'll just charge rape you regardless.

    Well thats my 2 cents.
