it is hard question depending on the personal mood/feeling
I like to kill as many mobs as possible in few locations (agony 3/misery) on my way to bounty.
I think AlkaizerX is rushing bounty objectives only (I saw few minutes on stream)

I think bounties grant more XP/hour than rifts (at least on T6)
    I don`t know about GRR

There could be some issues for no-lifers, but D3 is better and better with every patch.
I have more and more people online on my friend/clan list with every patch

posted a message on Did Blizzard just say "Ok, let us give players unlimited gold if they so desire" ?
Gold was no problem in previous D games too. You had infinite gold if you wanted.

It is also good for the Seasons -> more people could be happy with "fresh" start

So how much time played is appropriate for you in RoS to see all the legendary and sets? (no perfect rolls!)

I just want to add that I played D3 for about 1.2K hours and I still did not see all the sets/legs (MP8-10, no AH)

I also don`t like the price in EU, but I accept it, because Blizz needs to maintain the server infrastructure here in Europe too.

I agree with OP and with Maka
I`m on the fence if I should RoS or not - current PTR just telling me I should keep my money. I still see RoS is just polished gameplay without any depth - you log in and you smash - I see no long term goal

I still remember start of the D3 and the HUGE dissapointment. They fixed most of the problems during all those patches. I would say that every change they made in the patches was good (paragon, new legs, density, ubers), but I have really bad feeling about this PTR and RoS start.
As was written above: D3Vanila in current state is dead with RoS release

And it's a very good decision. As far as I'm aware, with the class changes no longer any class has infinite resource generation. You were never supposed to run around with perma-WotB, Whirlwinding all the time. Just as Wizards were never supposed to have 0 cooldowns on CC skills or having infinite Archon runs. Blizzard is now fixing this.

I agree with you on this, but WHY they fixed it in expansion after more then 1,5 years after release.
I`m not checking RoS news, but I remember when they tune the settings of WoTB and rage mechanics.
So I don`t quite get it when they are changing specs, which were working for the long time (I mean they are not changing them - they are removing them)

no I do not ask for the expanson. But what BZ should deliver is a workable and funvtional patch release and that would require making the loot drop and crafting work. Thre is no need for the new class ; new act ; post lvl60 new skill etc ... but the game need that content to made it work and last. If it would take RoS to get the game actually work ; then all I can confr is BZ been cheating on the D3 release. D3 should by itself work. RoS is there to give us extras.

So all said the patch or PTR just do not give the endgame feature gameplay and not yet letting the lootsystem and related crafting actually work good enouh.

So far this is not much a D3 PTR ; as others had stated. It just hihlight what RoS can do but actually also highlight how the D3 been actually failing and not being f1ixed ; not with this PTR anyway

    I agree with you completely

They are doing same thing they did in WoW
They changed the ways some skills are working, but to be able to play I need to buy expansion.

For example: WW Barb is not possible to play properly - basic things are completely reworked.

posted a message on EHP vs DPS - Your thoughts
I`m quite new HC player, but I see your point. I would say HP over 200k is total overkill if dmg is only 30-50k

I think 80-100K HP is enough to cover some "oh shit" moments and prevent some easy DC deaths
Rest of the gear can be switch to max DPS

I will keep playing my female barb and I will adjust some items (I will try some new crafts).

New patch is really great and this Blizz one-year present is also nice.
