posted a message on How to build a fresh 70 for HC...

    Hi,

Doing fine with this build http://www.diablofans.com/builds/57753-rhykker-time-lord-build. Can clear T8-T9 at easy and yesterday finished GR40. Can't say anything above that. But its a pretty solid build for tho se like me that doesn't like Archon play style. Only problem is that you have low survability (I like the thrill hahaha)

MTG does have "BIS" cards and decks. From a pool with over 20k cards, you have less than 500 staples that dominate the formats. Any game with a collection factor will have fillers to fill the gap between good and godly items.

That's the whole point you don't farm them, why are you upset then? And you didn't answered what I asked, if you're not doing any of this how are the "exploiters" make the game worse for you? You're the one not bringing the discussion forward, aside from the QQ.
He probably didn't farm CotA either. What was the "fix" to CotA again?

It's a fix that I agree with because, unless they did what they did, the people running CotA would just find another area with huge amounts of low-HP monsters. But, even though I agree with what Blizzard did, it still effects all of us. Every time I kill a skeleton, or a scorpion, or a boggit, I'm getting less XP for it because people were abusing the piss out of CotA and had abused the piss out of other low-HP monsters in the past.

Blizzard did the right thing, but the right thing still impacted everyone. Don't be naive. Don't be foolish.
White monsters should reward XP as they are rewarding now. They FIXED the high amount of XP from white mobs. The point is killing 1000000000 and killing 10 is the same. You're still getting the benefits. They fixed stuff that were broken and now they're working as intended. People abusing stuff like this is great for Blizzard. So farm while you can and enjoy while you can. It's way better than cry rivers at the forums.

If the game is about competitiveness, then Playing to Win is more relevant, not less. It's written for competitive games such as Street Fighter and StarCraft, where your actions actually had an effect on the other players. To summarize, in those games, people actually try to find exploits, and many exploits are eventually adopted as standard game play. The message is "As long as it is tournament legal, it's fair game. If something is so good that it becomes a problem, disallow it, but only after the fact and not retroactively punish the users."
Exactly, I played KOF and SF at a competitive level for several years, and this mindset was followed by any people who played at the same level. Is it fun? Hell no. Was it a way to victory, sure it was. Take a look at MvsC3U, people usually hate Zero players. Some call them exploiters (usually casual players), some skilless players, and some call fair game. But it's valid to play at tournaments, so no harm no foul.
People talk about advantage in game, what advantage? Are you playing with these players? Are you competing with them? There's an auction house with real money involved? I guess no. So it doesn't hurt you at all.
You and i play the game in diffrent ways. That im sure of, You are most likely one of the people that i find abusive and cheating. You are not doing anything wrong in the eyes of Blizzard but to me your kind makes the game worse for me when Blizzard "fix" stuff that you abuse. Dont come in here with your logic saying that if there is no Auction House that, or you are not even playing with them this, doesnt affect me but it does in more ways then one. The abusing of everything that can be abused dumbs down the game and makes the really awesome stuff like occasionally walking by a golden chest getting awesome rained over you doesnt happen anymore.
Could you please explain why this make the game worse for you if you're not "abusing" the "exploit"? If you're not "abusing" it remains the same. Chest were nerfed due bad design, Manglemaw was nerfed due bad design. Can you see the pattern here?If its hurting your gameplay, well welcome to the club, you're abusing the system just like me and the others.
The chests were not a bad design until people started abusing them and farming only them skipping the rest of the game. Same with every other thing that has been "nerfed/fixed/redesigned/whatever". How am i abusing the system just like you and others if i dont farm chests, if i didnt farm manglemaw, if i didnt afk farm some quest? Makes no sense to me. If you got nothing else to say just be quiet then. Becouse it doesnt really bring the discussion forward.

Diablo series always had this kind of "exploit". You don't want to do? Fine, then don't do it at all. But cursing people who does with the excuse of the designers will butcher the game is lame. If it is a real exploit it should be removed ASAP. If not it should stays. Chest runs was not abused, it was efficient and flawed. Manglemaw was not abused, it was flawed. Easy mobs with big rewards is a flawed design and should be removed. BUT, people doing this are just playing the game, in a different way, but they are playing. Quit the QQ and go play more D3, or feed you cat/dog. People are just envious of each other, that's the truth.

posted a message on Thunderfury, how many times have you looted it?
I got none. Friend of mine rolled 2 with int playing his hardcore wiz. But I already got all lightning gear (thindergod's vigor, odyn son, ouroboros, storm crow), many fire stuff (mage fist x2, cindercoat x2, maximus, burning axe of sankis, lut soks, except for devastator plan), rorg and 3 tal rasha pieces. Not a single TF ou SoH, but definitively good drops overall.

I started with shoulder and chest. Then yesterday I got Tal Rasha Belt (already had the chest on my stash) and moved to shoulder and bracer to get bonus from tal, aughilds and captain.

posted a message on Doesn't it bother you that there will be no OP legendaries?
What we need is items that are game changing, and I'm not talking about number crunch changes, I'm talking about change in the mechanics itself. We need items that morph's you into a reaper or other monster, items that summon hordes of cows/goats/rakanishus, items that make you held 2h weapons like a 1h (might belts/weapons could be useful) or give you a 3rd slot for a flying weapon that fights at your side. We need a fun game, with big numbers in damage and cool mechanics to work with. Runewords change this, I remember my hunts after white items with the required slots back in the day when I played LoD. They have the tools and the feedbacks, they just need to learn how to use them.
