so after we get hacked or someone else gets hacked we all degenerate to fighting over forums like kids in pre-school...
guys relax, the forums aren't made for people to blow off steam. we're here to talk (i presume XD)
i have very serious doubts on the nature of the hacks...
if it's server side compromise, how did they bypass Blizz/on-site security? the only long range connection to them are through the clients... unless there's an evil dev trolling all of us... they already announced that sometimes during a launching of a new game/expansion in their system, vulnerabilities start appearing... meaning they already know what's happening and is dealing with it.
if it's client side, how did it go past the authenticators (if present) or do it without keyloggers? i do tend to just crack/hack people just for the lulz (don't worry, i return what i steal most of the time), but that requires time and must target specific people only. these people tend to be those that aren't security conscious about their account. so if you aren't that then you shouldn't be hacked (or at least have a small chance of being hacked)
so... is it client side or server side? both seems to pose their own impossible scenarios...
i dunno... i'm what you would call a "retrograde" diablo player.
i played diablo 2 first before getting a copy of diablo . the system in diablo 1 (compared to diablo 2) was horrible (because i got used to diablo 2). but i enjoyed it, and never did i complain about it (everyone who played diablo 1 must remember the first monk from the hellfire exp). why should i complain? the game was the best of its time.
i enjoyed both versions of diablo because i played them as they are, not expecting the one to be like the other. and i think the same should be applied to diablo 3 too.
so if people have their complaints they should send/post it where the appropriate people would read/see it and take action, not just post it on forums just to see how many more are just like you. honestly i am getting tired of people posting something like "rest in peace blizz north" or "diablo 3 is the diablo franchise's death" and other variants.
it took us twelve long years of waiting, i'm not giving up on it in just 2 weeks after launch.
p.s. i am having a blast playing the game, i file tickets or post suggestions to their cs about problems and set-backs, but that doesn't stop me from playing and i doubt i will stop anytime in the next 2 to 3 years
go for int and resistances for molten, dex will help cause you'll be dishing more damage (thus killing them faster). also i found that i can mitigate the damage (note: i still die but at least now i have a fighting chance) with MoH to boost my regen and counter act the DoT AoE.
i like the number. you're actually forced to think over your party's composition through. you can't bring all the classes and their strengths and abilities to the table so you need to compromise on how you set-up your build. it becomes more co-op than having more people and have all bases covered. leaves an area for weakness and in turn makes you more tactical in playing the game to not let that weakness be the downfall of the party.
Waiting what seems like forever, got a question tho, can you install the game before 00.01 tomorrow? I.E install it tomorrow at 19.00(?) and then just wait till you can log on?
Cheers my fellow Diablo fans, tomorrow night we will all be joined in the fight agianst hell, and ultimately, sleep !
all installers will be unlocked at 8:01 am PDT May 14, so yeah you can install by then
as i'm posting this it is 12:00mn UTC+8 May 14 for me so...
... there is no word in any language than can express how i really want to play now!! especially now that it's sooooooooo close! less than 24hrs woooot!
I know the skill creates an impassable area, my question is from the skill video in the official site the monsters caught inside the area where the Inner Sanctuary is placed are feared (a fear icon appears on their heads).
If this is accurate then casting Dashing Strike to the middle of a group, cast this and you have effectively feared a whole pack of monsters who will run around in random free to be picked off by your teammates or by Hand of Ytar or minion attack.
I wonder how long the fear lasts cause i can really see this in pvp/pve.

not really bands, i'm going for a more instrumental sound while playing.
