Get a clan, get some friends, profit. If you want to play solo it's still fun. This is an online game after all. My problem is I have to many friends and only 3 other spots.
There is never going to be a happy medium for everything. Someone is always going to be mad about something.
Single play is fine.

My friends and I have been doing this, the wizard in our group has the shoulders. One question how come when our monk is in the group it boots us from group after we leave game? When its just myself (barb) and the 2 other wizards we do not run into this problem.Posted in: Diablo III General Discussion

Can you source this please? I must have missed it, I have been gone for like 6 months.Quote from daisychopper
There's a system like that already in the game, based on how long you've played without finding a legendary. One of the devs said it in an interview. It basically kicks in after a couple of hours and your chance to get a legendary starts increasing until you get one. You can't see it in game though.

I have been seeing a lot of complaints about loot not dropping and blah blah blah....Posted in: Diablo III General Discussion
Well after the patch you lost all your MF, because of the paragon change.
Now loot is bind to account... Which I think is a great system but flawed because of one contributing factor, you are deterred because your gear you want simply isn't dropping.
So I thought, what if your MF increased the more you killed until a legendary dropped, then reset back to your current MF value on your gear. When I mean increase I mean like .... .01 per kill or something. Just an example.
You are now rewarded for farming, which is great but I think there needs to be more involved.
Dumb idea? Who knows, thought I would share!

Opening up the portal does not mean you've contributed more to getting the organ.
When I have keys, I purposely look for people to help me kill the bosses so I have a chance at the drop. Solo-ing the uber bosses is not nearly as efficient as having people to help. You gain by the existence of being in a party.
Since you own the keys, you get the ability to choose the party in which you open the portal for. If you want to 'get something out of farming for the keys', then thats what your getting.
I disagree with your purposal anyway. I farm keys and organs with a specific group of friends. We all put in the same amount of time and effort since we do most things together. I've been unlucky in not getting act 3 keys for a while now. I have 6 act1 keys and 5 act2 keys but 0 act3. So I haven't contributed to a portal quite as much as the other 3. Since I've helped them get every key they possess right now, do you think I should get punished for not getting the bonus?
Yes that's if you run it with the same people over and over. Correct.

Example on mp7Posted in: Diablo III General Discussion
Player 1 brings 1 machine 70% chance base +10% for opening portal
Player 2 brings 2 machines 70% chance base +10% for next 2 portals
Player 3 brings 0 - 70% chance
Player 4 brings 0 - 70% chance
I see nothing wrong with this.

All I'm saying is people who open the portal should have a better chance at the organ piece for that giving portal, unlike the people "along for the ride" even though they still have a good chance at the organ.Posted in: Diablo III General Discussion
