Game changed so much since I wrote this.
Locust crits per target, so you kill stuff which received crit quickly, and rest (no crit), are barely scratched. This is why it worked so well with that min damage no crit approach on mp0.
For higher mps, impossible to do it.
I got really good gear now on my wd, switched to skorn, and I'm at point where crits from my locust actually kill trash at mp10.. but non crits do nothing. And 2h crit chance can be maxed at around 45% (with soj), which is great limiting factor to the build (in comparison to rend barbs which rock 80-90% cc buffed and one shot screens with rend, which btw deals 3x dps of locust).

I found that probably best combo is bears + cob. Bears to clear trash and ranged elites, everything else cob (also for melee trash, if there is huge crowd coming at you).Posted in: Witch Doctor: The Mbwiru Eikura
Never managed to make wos work on mp10, single target abilities don't deal enough damage. Takes way longer to kill with this skill than with bears.

You don't, all mp10 azmodan records since first person started doing it, count from the moment you deal first damage to boss (when his health bar appears). I could spawn these globes right before enterining his room, just wanted to show how I got them. Also this is all strategy, it you look at it, ghom gets blinded by scoundrel, right before he was about to touch cloud of bats. That is all indended and planned, so I charge up bats to max damage, and then start dealing maximum damage. As for gear, nothing really that special, I swap do bats reduction soj, but in normal gameplay in case of my weapon, i don't use it.
Also a 0cd dog swap (weak items just to get globes).

It is enough. You can some control over how many globes you pick, so they are not wasted. So that is the benifit of it.Posted in: Witch Doctor: The Mbwiru Eikura
But increasing it wouldn't hurt, just I wouldn't go over 14y.

Input is welcome, what to upgrade when it comes to build or gear.
I'd like to use grasp instead of horrify, but that ehp boost is just too good to ignore, helps vs reflect, helps vs all situation where you need some tanking power.
