if you have a solid state drive, install d3 onto it. it's entirely worth it. I don't have rubberbanding issues and I have absolutely 0 load time where ever I go. I know that rubberbanding would generally be related to internet connection but who knows. I have pretty standard wireless (nothing impressive, actually on the slow side) and I've never had a problem with these issues that so many seem to have. (even prior to the "fixes.")
I only read OP and a few posts here and there, so if someone addressed this. I apologize for the redudancy.
I agree that it is partially Blizzard's fault. But by agreeing to the terms of service you acknowlege the account is RENTED. You do not own any of the characters, items, or anything on it. You agreed not to abuse any glitch or dupe and to abide by the rules. In turn, it's ALSO your fault. Blame is on both ends. End of story. Anyone who knowingly duped gold should definitely have their account banned.
They are adjusting the prices for a reason. Do you understand that it's only broken because it's the players who choose what gold is worth, not blizzard. It is not fundamentally flawed, it is an effect of the players, and thus they are adjusting it to make it worthwhile.
I have a level 60 monk, and I must say I am having twice as much fun on my 54 wd leveling than I did as a monk. This isn't to say monk was boring at all, I thought it was also very fun.
after reading Scrim's post I really hope he is a bit incorrect and just hasn't played around with the class enough, but I'm throroughly enjoying (and blasting through) the pre-inferno content. I agree about the lengthy cooldowns though, but that's something I feel needs to be reworked on all classes. (there should not be wow-length cooldowns in a diablo style game, honestly.)
What you have just said is one of the most insanely idiotic things I have ever heard. At no point in your rambling were you even close to anything that could be considered a rational thought. Everyone in this room is now dumber for having listened to it. I award you no points, and may God have mercy on your soul.
People die, and can at any time. What made you so touchy to the truth?
Also to digress, I've loved reading the responses. Some of you are silly, and some of you are awesome.
I might die before release from smashing my head into the desk after reading so many idiotic threads.
oh come now, I've seen threads much more idiotic and ridiculous than this. I'm half joking, but not really. Shit like this really can happen at any time, do you think people that die from unnatural circumstances know they are going to die 24 hours in advance? No, probably not.
So, is anyone else worried that due to some totally random (or perhpaps, not random) chance, they will be inadvertently killed before Diablo III launches? Brain aneurism, sudden cardiac death, tripping down the stairs? You don't even need to leave your home for something like that to happen.
This is obviously me overthinking something to an extreme degree, but surely I'm not the only one hoping to live for at least a couple more weeks. Anyway, goodluck staying alive for another 6 days, everyone.
