i just did 2 runs. started with 5nv buff. all champion packs dropped 2 ilvl 61-62 yellow items. however the normal mobs seems to drop 50-60 blues and yellows. and clouds, gifts and shrooms seemed really awkward, barely nothing.
hmm was abit hard to kite since they made champions ai better i think.. tried to kite around a big pool of water.. but was really hard to not get the champ pack to split up.
im a wizard btw.
I have done a lot of Whimsyshire runs with five valor stacks and end up with a lot of 61s and 62s, 63 seem quite rare. However, just killed an elite pack and found a GrandFather sword with no stacks of Valor. I am a Wizard too.
Could one farm the items need for the cow level on say "Normal" mode and then make the staff needed to enter the Cow Level itself on say "Hell or Inferno" mode?
Some friends and I ordered several copies of the Diablo 3 CE from walmart. However, seems they all didn't want to wait for them to arrive next week and just went with the digital download. So I have a lot extra now that will arrive next week... should I keep them for a few months to resell or just return to walmart when they arrive?
Has there been any confirmation on differences in Softcore vs. Hardcore (other then the one death)? I mean, are rare item drop rates higher in HC then SC? Has Blizzard said anything on rewards for playing HC over SC?

Doesn't Archon just enhance the damage of your spells instead of having its own?
Archon has its own ability set. In addition, each kill increases the durantion of Archon by one second.
Wouldn't help much on a single boss mob, but on packs of mobs, one could stay an Archon much longer then 15 seconds. And I have heard damage from the spells while in Archon is 1000% fold (or something like that).
His original build does 145% weapon damage to all mobs in front of him (Spammable) + Archon which is reported to do 1000% weapon damage.
Most normal builds only have 2-3 damage spells. He's got 1 which is spammable, Archon I consider a special instead of a dmg spell. Would it be preferable to switch Archon for Disintegrate? perhaps but that's just playstyle. Is this going to be a slow kill build? Yes, but its also safe and doable. And of course farming for the highest DPS weapons is going to be a must but at best I'd say it's only about 40% less efficient than a normal build.
That build has 310 Life per second (while energy armor is up), 1.5% life recovered by all attacks, and 8% life recovered by critical attacks (spectial blades). And as for defense: Diamond skin with fifteen second 21,707 damage sheild, with energy armor the ttacks that deal more then 35% of life max life are reducded to 35% of max life, and a Familiar does 29% arcane weapon damage and absorbs one attack every six seconds when below 35% life.
So while yes, my damage spells are spectral blade and archon, overall, I like the build. Hard to say how it will work out until I have a chance to try it out and see what kind of damage output it has (based on gear).
Too much defense and not enough offense, eh? Melee damage from Spectial Blades shouldn't be too bad and Archon is there for the "bring on the pain" damage", lol. Anyway, what would you suggest changing?
Hi, I am new here and I wanted to get some feedback on a build I have come up with. I think it's really well rounded and should work well. Pretty much set on everything but not too sure which runes for Archon and Diamond Skin would work out better. The below link is what I was thinking. Thoughts?

So you are saying is IL% chance in Inferno for Whimshyshire is same as Inernfo Act III and Act IV?

I'm all for making some extra ca$h, but where are you seeing them actually selling for $300? They look to go for around $150 on eBay.
