LOL, I think is KARMA. She made so much shit in Cataclysm release, even having a secret account where she would troll people she dislike in "breaking the rules" and "accidentally give permabans, instead of 48 hours ones", that they probably put her in the middle of the shitstorm Diablo 3 is, just for her to suffer.Quote from Benegesserit
Gotta give Lylirra credit. She's clearly a pro at remaining calm amidst so many terrible posters.
edit: Clever parody but did you have to chose THAT song? I can't even stand its melody...

At this time I say, ask Tom Chilton to call a replacement for Jay Wilson from his old company, knock JW unconscious, put him in a crate and mail him to Bioware.
Chilton himself and his buddies he brought to Blizzard are doing an amazing work. Who knows if another one can save this disaster. Sad thing is that they really have good developers in D3, but with a lame management.

Noone. And what it have to do with them admitting that Diablo 3 was until now a small team that didn't accepted anything from outside? JW's 12 sucked because of that. Neither SC or WoW is made of 12 people deciding every single aspect of the game. They have dozens or hundreds of people working on content.Quote from Benegesserit

Reeks of Mike Morhaine saying "Screw you Wilson, you're not working alone and unchecked. We are putting more people besides Cheng creating systems. What the hell were you thinking in cutting team sizes?"The Diablo team will often include Warcraft and Starcraft teams on ideas to get additional input.
Who says the other games don't get input from the other games' teams?

That's what I have been saying all along. Cheng is a quality professional. Might well be a great team leader. But Wilson instead put him as SOLE RESPONSIBLE for the work of at least 12 people. There is so much quality you can juice from a single person. Wilson WASTED Wyatt Cheng.
HEHEHEHEH Evil though on Lindsay and Pico. When they will include the third host, an actress/waitress from Nebraska? -

I don't care about a still broken game with even more patches. It's a disfigured monster of gums, spit and duct tapes.
Why would I bear with the suffering of still horrible loot, that doesn't reward effort, gained through a long play time that have no palpable changes or goals, dealing with fights that inheres artifacts due to single dumb mathematical increase, which brake the intended mechanics.
Nah, there are actually finalized and carefully calculated games all around. I'm tired of Jay Wilson style of "one-man army" developing. Wyatt Cheng should be a team leader not a multitasking lone warrior. -

Just saw a friend that is a very good player failing Diablo fight on inferno OVER AND OVER because it's a jaywilsoned encounter. Stupidly increased math, that doesn't account for the artifacts that brake fight mechanics.
His only option was to keep trying until LUCK allowed him to fight without any of those broken mechanics happening. -

Oh, yeah, right, and the enemies will be just baffled by that and stand RIGHT IN THE MIDDLE of the nest, where it will work, instead of chasing the DH that being a glass cannon will be forced to run FAR FAR AWAY from the said "nest".

I believe it's the same guy that was accused of that in another thread here, and even then a look on his lifetime kills would show he is exploting killing streaks. Looked human then, still looking human to me now.Quote from ZFPuhi

Aug 4, 2012Buu posted a message on Diablo III Hotfixes for August 3rd - RubberbandingPosted in: News
That's what I thought when I read that... "did they...?"Quote from Formoor1986
in Eu servers rubberbanding occurs often, still not fixed (tempest rush monk), my average latency is 50-60. The servers are overpopulated there is no latency issue in my opinon, blizz's servers can't handle this amount of data I/O and creates packet losses which leads to rubberbanding.
Besides, the servers are in no way overpopulated at this point. Most of players abandoned the game or was banned for botting. I uninstalled the game even.
What's ruining the movement of characters is the excessive use of bandwidth and processing of the Auction House. Too much useless searches because of the limit of 3 characteristics, and it's programmed as higher priority than the game, as showed when they had to take down the AH on US servers to allow people to play under 400ms. -

I don't care about people calling other people crybabies, especially not when it interferes with the apparently outdated concept of privacy. Plus you can always say your argument is invalid unless you turn your profile public? I'm talking about an OPTION here.
Well, and I don't like people that have to HIDE the sheet when talking the very same thing. Want privacy? OK, just don't show up at the community. People will not see your battletag, and will not check on you. But once you made yourself active in the community.... well... privacy would only serve shady practices. -

You make WAY MORE people sad, by stating this. Of course the armory have to do. Network management team is network management team. They spend time sorting old status of items, instead of improving it, and working in XML updates instead of stabilizing the rubberband effect.Quote from Molster
you guys make me sad =(
The armory has nothing to do with the game issues or patches, its a 100% different team that has no impact on how long a patch takes... its free "content" if you will.
I hope NOT. That's what we need to make less people stuck in ACT I Nightmare come to the forums call people stuck in ACT III Inferno a "crybaby with no skills".Quote from Brytryne
I hope they lets us turn public profiles OFF this time around.
I love Blizzard and their games, but this shit needs to stop.

No, they didn't feel the urge to take all the steps back and make an inferioir product planning to catch up the predecessor at the future.
Diablo 3 just did it. Jay decided to scratch a lot of things and release something that was HIS work alone, so he could say he never learned anything from the team of that loser Brevik, and it was all his doing. Well, any level-head person can say that's not smart. Smart developers build AROUND the pillars of one existing franchise, they shouldn't demolish those pillars to substitute for their own.
I can't recall ONE example in which this stupid idea of redoing a game franchise with an installment that ignore the previous ones features worked well. Diablo 3 shuld have picked up from where Diablo 2 ended, not somewhere in between the crappy state of D2 and its end.

Yes, he is to responsible for making a lot of crap at launch, but not on his own volition. The fact that he ALONE made every skill of the game and most of interactions between them (monsters and players alike) would result in an OBVIOUS disaster. And who decided to dump the responsibility of a TEAM to a LONE developer?
Not to mention that error 37 was an oversight that I really doubt B.net programmers didn't alert Jay Wilson of the risk. BUT (RM)AH was the highest priority in Wilson's head, so fuck those loser players.

Rob Pardo should have replace Jay Wilson BY THEN. So, yeah, I blame you. As I'll blame you if the new place where Jay Wilson was moved is on the same position he couldn't perform in Diablo 3, but just in another game. I hope it's something more on par with Wilson's capabilities.

Oh wait, It wasn't that way....

*cough* *cough* Bioware *cough* doppelgänger *cough*
And we know where Bioware stands now. Morhaime will insist in letting Jay Wilson walk this path for how much longer? I mean, the immediate future of Diablo 3 is right in front of us, to anyone see. Why let it turn that way?
Just say "who want to lead the change of D3 into offline mode, raise their hand" and substitute Jay Wilson.
1
Yeah... go believe in yourself about D3 being a good game with a bad community, Stryker....
Meanwhile as Ubermey said D3 follow the path of every other disenfranchised game that failed bad, as they ignored the players, and blamed their customers on ruining their work: life goes on, and they are left alone. There is PLENTY, and really mean that, PLENTY of green pastures out there. Repeating that dry brown is the best will not bring the cattle to your wasteland. And calling them idiots for not believing that will only worsen it.
RIGHT NOW the only way I see to make Diablo 3 work is to finally release the offline mode, where everyone can cheat all the way they like, edit saves as much as they want, win paragon levels at the touch of a Button, ON THEIR OWN MACHINES, UNPLUGGED FROM B.NET AND THE AH.
People will only value and respect Battle.net after they tried the most powerful character they can have in their own home, separated from others. Then they will have a goal: to repeat that online, in a legitimate way.

Yeah, there is way out of that argument. Jaywilsoned...

It's because that game is so unfinished that it should receive a b standing for beta.
Or an f instead of 1. You can choose between any of the meanings of F. From grade to a kind of word.
P.S.: Probably bots don't like Diablo PvP....
2
And I laughed HARD on "But in continuing to develop this mode, playtest it, and put it in front of other developers within the company, we've found that it falls short of our expectations for a high-quality Blizzard experience."
WAIT WHAT!!??? Where were them when ALL THE REST of Diablo 3 was to be tested?
