You should be able to clear inferno act 4 fine in that gear tbh. No gear is gonna put you through it. I hold 130k dps with sharp/68k without. You should be able to clear it all without any more gear. If you really wanna spend your gold buy beckon sail w/ 10 max disc and good dex, or a wpn with higher dps and a socket and already existing crit dmg. My gear is far below yours and I can do act 4 although it takes a bit of limping. Honestly I think saving gold and just wait till items flood in from a nerf is best bet.
In other words - completely possible. It takes alot more money to get the thing rolling than DH for example, but its also much more safer to play since you can just literally spam everything to death without ever coming close to dying. No one hit KO's because you got distracted by a phone call or something, just kill stuff to death.

I was just curious if I could at least farm act 2 without kiting for weeks like on my DH. I want to smash some stuff, move out of stuff and not rely entirely on my discipline as health.
Is this even an option. At least to farm act 2 with? I have a geared DH to farm act 3 with just curious if i could play a barb that is maybe not one shotable but still have fun dpsing and killing stuff.

Try it in a few months when some stuff has changed. All diablo 2 was, an endless grind for rare gear. LoD the unique situation was a terrible design.
Ok edited while I made a post. My question is did you even play diablo 2? Took 3 characters to figure out how to build it without using the forums. Diablo 3 is so far a much better game. Who cares that its not perfect no game is. Just like we werent meant to be doing inferno. Sure they underestimated us but w/e people sometimes do. If this game had no inferno it would be amazing.
While I kept coming to Diablo 2 over many years, Diablo 3 got boring really quickly.
I understand that this game is still ok for WoW players. The game was, after all, made by developers who have not worked on previous Diablo games. But for me who grew really tired of WoW over so many years, this is not ok.
It's just way too much like WoW. You rush to lvl 60 then it becomes endless farm for gear.
There's not even enough variation. For example the spider cave in Act 1, there are only 4 variations of that map. They call that random generating maps? Pathetic.

There is no "excuse" on my part because I am not being unreasonable. Blizzard is being unreasonable by saying that you have to play this game online and you have to conform their schedule. If the server isn't up, tough. If there's maintenance and you want to play on Tuesdays, tough. If you have Internet issues, tough.

Everything Im seeing points to forgoing vita and stacking Dex, Crit, Crit dmg.. and sitting at a measily 12-18k hp and just NOT getting hit..
Personally I hate it and don't do it.. but I also cant get past the first quest in A3.. I did manage to kill Belial tho. (Inferno)
- I stack Dex/Vita/Resist all +Anything else crit/crit dmg I can get my hands on.. but its not going well -- Using a 960 ish dps wep and with my gear only doing 21-22k dps. -- With other gear I can get 32k easy.. but I HATE the *Get 1shot by everything* gearing (Edit: dps numbers are without//PRE sharpshooter)
ATM I believe its gonna cost me 5-10mil per item off the AH that includes dex100+, Vita 100+, Resistall50+, Crit2%+, Crit dmg 30%+ -- Before I can really *easily* progress through A3 Inferno :(.. and that assumes anyone posts said items.

Act 3 mobs one shout you anyway unless you're really really stacking Vit and Resistance to the point your damage is too low to kill the mobs... So just stack damage and don't get hit I'm stacking Crit Damage, currently at 289%. 13k HP xD
Problem I have with that is what about abilities like the butcher's cone chains. When I was doing this he would one shot me when he used it. How do you avoid those style mechanics besides use smoke screen.
They may buff/debuff certain spells, but I will bet 100mil gold they don't tune it down.
Better items are being found and AH'd every day. It's going to get easier.

Ah but it is hilarious when hi expecially in whimsyshire. I don't usually use it but buddy showed us and ya its pretty much a crap ton of work but it was funny when he did it cause we got jailed and he made a circle around us.
Do what I do find out about the boneweave hauberk exploit use it to create a barrier in whimyshire kite mobs to barrier they cant pass stand there and kill them behind barrier with your friends for easy loot and neph buffs
