There is a difference between an efficient "route" and "you are a fool not to be doing this" route. They don't go out of their way to nerf a good efficient route.
I played without a ls weapon pre 2.0 and did just fine on mp10, no i couldn't stand in the middle of half the zone spamming cob, or kill as fast as say a barb, but I managed. WIth the talent revamps and LoH plentiful. WD will not be gimp, the usual problems will persist (like mobility for farm speed). If you think or expect to just sit in the middle of everything and cob or bears, then you will be disappointed come lvl 70
they stated way back they wanted to stay way from the "pets do everything" build like old school necro's, so as long as pets are viable choice even if you may do more damage wouldn't really be a problem imo.
i traded with people for 10 years in diablo 2, and 2 years in diablo 3. tell me again how taking away a massive aspect of the game is ok?
had it with you account bound fan boys. you dont get it - when you stop playing after 3 weeks ill have 1000000 build ideas to follow through with - but the items will never drop for me. makes no sense.
even if 0 dog gear was available for ros, youd never ever complete the set required lmfao
seeing that i've seen multiple streamers running 0dog kinda blows that prediction out of the water.
sadly currently thorns is very marginally higher at 70 then it is at 60, hopefully it just hasn't had a tuning pass but I'm not holding my breath on it.
there are a couple interesting legendary bonuses centered around thorns in RoS, but without thorns scaling far higher then it currently is not much will come of it sadly.
when they do they are going to have limit some how, something like have to complete the previous mp level before you can do a public game in the next. similar as nm, hell, inferno are unlocked.
right again depending on how you want to spin it, an item drops it has x chance to be 6 stats, y to be 5, and z to be 4, ect. You can legitimately argue both sides.
if monster has 4% to drop a 6-affix rare item and you have +50% magic find, it now has 6% to drop that item
taken from blizz's own description, which depend on how you spin it both views are correct. mf only increases drop chance or mf increases drop quality.
D3 skill breaks down to a few things, for range classes is how well you studder step cast; cast, move, cast, move. which once you have the basics down is effectived more by latency then actual player ability, then its gear and followed by understanding game mechanics / theorycrafting min/max ect.
This measure of skill is a big reason (imo) that d3 dropped the ball on a large scale.
they nerf it due to the simple reason they don't want you do "short and sweet" runs like remaking a new game for crypts or chain spawn games for the possibility of a goblin two steps away from a way point. Blizz wants you to farm via actually going through a map and then the next area. Essentially getting 5 stacks then hunting down a boss is what they want to push the player too.
Malthael gets tricked by adrea into using the black soulstone, he ends up killing Ithreal (read the destiny omen), Malthael or Inarious becomes the arch angel of death, and lillith has some part in making this all happen. with the death of Ithreal, imperious fully is consumed in wrath and goes on a rampage to finish of the omen's prediction.
well we know that the prophet was an angel by the enchantresses dialog chats, and don't think blizz would make such a lore blunder as name 2 different angels as prophets to mortal (ok they would but dont' think they have in this case at least)
another wrench it could be lillith disguised as a angel who disguised as a mortal, to fashion an army to fight back against both heaven and hell for "her" world, this is supported by her will of making the nehpalem her personal army during the sin war.

well you pets are the one soaking damage not you, in the wd case so far not even having fierce loyalty pets seem to have real good surviability
