last night we published a first part of the update including the retail game data. Legendary+set items, quests and lore were integrated. Altough the items are still unsorted you can browse through a lot of new and interesting content of diablo 3.
And since a few minutes ago the newest version is available. Save/Load can now be found at the equipment planner and legendary+set affixes were implemented. The affixes to create magic/rare items are coming soon!
Stay tuned and enjoy the game!

Hi,Posted in: Diablo III General Discussion
thanks for more feedback!

Currently, users are able to put ANY skill in ANY slot. For example, Demon Hunter Discipline skills should not be able to go into the mouse button slots, or at least I wouldn't think so. Maybe when you activate the mode where skills aren't locked to certain areas, you can move them. I haven't got to try though.
You are right! There are a few skills which are not meant to go into the left mouse button slot according to blizzard's official skill calculator. But I think I tested this in the beta (in one of the early versions) and it was possible. Most other skills can be assigned freely. We'll test it again in the release and fix the issue.

Also, some quest text repeats itself. For example, in the Demon Hunter "The Fallen Star" quest journal, "Begin this quest", "Kill the Risen" and "Talk to Leah..." all have the same text. You can even see what I mean on the screenshot in the main post.
Currently the collected information goes unfiltered from the game data into the database. On release there will be a lot of new content to process and we will check what filters to apply to improve readability.
Simply removing repetitive text could be one solution. At the moment you can enjoy an uncut view on the information stored in the game client. There are even some items/information which provide some spoiler alert.
I'm not sure I understand your issues right... What device are you using and what is the resolution? Actually we do display all skills at once. I got the feeling you are speaking of another app...Quote from afkalmighty
Each menu, button etc is a tad too big which greatly limits the amount of info displayable in one screen which in turn requires the user to scroll alot.
An option to just display all skills on the skill calculator instead of dividing them into each category would help alot because plugging each skill in the calculator tends to become a nuisance.
When looking at the info of a set item, a link to other items included in the set would be nice too.
Setitems and Legendary items are still missing, because they were not present in the beta client. We hope to add them shortly after the release together with recipes.

Thanks for the nice feedback!Posted in: Diablo III General Discussion
Our release date is only a few days ago and we see a great potential in the obtained game data. There are so much more informations we would like to share, but haven't implemented it yet. So our goal is to integrate some more features and work off a few more TODO-list items first. Afterwards we'll discuss about our plans for iOS. At the moment we are a little hesitant about implementing this app for iOS since the market denies a lot of requests for Diablo3 apps. We want to understand their refusal reasons first before we invest fully into the iOS version.
To publish a ad-free version of Diatabase would be no big deal for us, but we thought getting some feedback of the community first would be the best way to go.
Unfortunately, we have no influence on that matter. The Google Play Store Search Algorithm calculates the relevance of our app. We can just hope for your support. Lots of good ratings would increase the app's relevance.
1 - It doesn't come up on the first page for a 'Diablo 3' search. Most of the time, I wont go past the first page for Apps, so you need to look into that.
We are working on that.. although the upcoming Diablo 3 release requires other tasks to be handled first. And i must admit we are good at coding but creating graphics has been our weak spot for a while.
2 - The App logo is... not great. Sorry to however made it, but its rather ordinary and I think it can look a lot better. The text needs more internal shadow, the case needs more shiny, the '3' doesn't look right.
There are already a few affects for this option. 1. Database > Quests -> Each character class has a different description of the current quest and 2. all item images are bound to their character's class and gender -> some items have a different appearance if you chose another class/gender.
Also, found the character selection under the Options but it didnt seem to affect anything. I would like to see this working since I will usually work on one class at a time.

Hi DiabloFans,Posted in: Diablo III General Discussion
Since the first rumors of Diablo 1, we have been fascinated followers of the Diablo series and maybe have played the first and second part a bit too excessively.
Now prior to Diablo 3, we thought: “Why not use the passion for this game in a meaningful way?”. Thus we have spent the waiting period with programming a Diablo 3 App for Android. The result of this work is a free Diablo 3 database App called Diatabase.
- Latest Diablo 3 News
- Items (Armor, Weapons, Other)
- Skills (Active and Passive)
- Lore (Journal, Bestiary, Other)
- Different content based on your chosen hero class
- Search function
- Skill calculator
- Equipment Planner
And there are yet a lot more features to come!
I've been following GlorytheWiz's thread about his app for a while now and for us developers your feedback is such a great support to find/solve errors and imrpove the app.
We have taken a whole different and very lightweight approach in our app to provide users with the most up to date ingame content. All you need is our small client app which will download and store the latest game information from our database.
Diatabase works offline and will only connect to our servers for detection of updates and synchronization. This also means that there's no need to update the installed app in Google Play over and over again. For a regular patch without major new content a synchronization results in only a few kilobytes transfer volume! As we obtain this information directly from the D3 game data, new material will be directly available after a patch was released.
If you find a bug, experience strange behavior or if you have any suggestions to improve Diatabase, please don't hesitate and let us know about it! Thanks in advance!
Search for "Diatabase" in Google Play or use the following QR-code:
(This thread is about a FREE app and we are just looking for constructive feedback.)
