Soloed until Leoric Inferno.Posted in: Barbarian: Bastion's Keep
However, always 2h for trash and bosses, 1h+shield for champions (requip whole offensiv to defensiv, not changing skills however)
Hell was not a problem, but some champion combos were just too hard, for sure

Posted in: Barbarian: Bastion's KeepQuote from InquisitorRaleWhy not consider bash with 18% to all damage for 5 sec rune? Reason i dislike Frenzy is that i think it will have massive issues with thorns damage.
It was also an interesting point I thought about.
The issue with that is that 5 sec are a bit too low for WW, I mean If you use seismic slam, it's great! You stack 5x then you just switch, Bash, SW, Bash, SW and so on.. WW will last, I'm not sure If you'll be able to keep the stacks up through WW.
However, it's definitely on my "to check" list
Quote from Woohaa56Personally i think the argument that relentless is better for HC then SC is a bad argument. I'm not sure about you guys but even though i'm going to die countless times while trying to farm inferno for gear. I don't plan on dying. Relentless is a passive oh shit button that activates when your extremely low on hp. Do you want to rely on your reflexes to hit a pot or one of your other hp regen abilities? If you were able to save yourself fast enough that you wouldn't have to rely on it then the difference between HC and SC is a moot point. Personally i think i'm going to get alot of mileage out of that passive.
I will go with Ignore Pain/Ignorance Is Bliss for that purpose. I have my great dmg mitigation and I have my life reg with that. I'm pretty sure this skill will be far more profitable for me than Relentless.
Sure, Relentless is a passive, but you have Nerves of Steel that boost you AC and you'll for sure need some dmg passives aswell.. I just think it'll be wasting a passive slot.. However, maybe I won't manage to survive without that (I doubt it, due to Ignore Pain being an almost equal "skill").
The question is: will you be able to abort WW and youse Ignore Pain? It's possible (one of my horror scenarios) to die within this 2 sec you are WW'en... That would make Relentless a must until you gear up properly.

I don't know, I think Relentless is bullshit.Posted in: Barbarian: Bastion's Keep
When you are below 20% you hit potion and fight on, if you are counting to be "constantly" below 20% this passive will be a possible improvement..
But for SC, and imho we are talking here about SC is this a waste of a passive slot in my eyes..
For sure, If you play HC you should consider it a must, just because your death would be permament.

Posted in: Barbarian: Bastion's KeepQuote from FirehærtSeismic Slam and Hammer of the Ancients? No arrmor passive, no healing skill (Dreadnaught, Revenge, Overpower).. I think it is quite lacking for inferno compared to what you are able to obtain.
This for sure.
Just too weak for Inferno, however pre Inferno maybe viable.
Well, maybe it's also doable for Inferno, but then with highend gear my friend

I can foresee a discussion about champion packs now, but keep in mind, that it's not necessarily the best option to aoe them down. Unless they're Avengers, of course
Haha Yes, for sure!
Well don't know if you meant me by that, because I never saw some1 using this argument except for me, but my point is, 156% weapon dmg (with bs rune) is also a great single target dmg.
Yes champions, with multishot+lighting for example, will kind of nuke your ass But lets face the facts - you'll kill groups of mobs far longer than bosses, because farming only boss is not an option in d3 anymore, not so great option to be precise.

Well I'll go with ench, just of the AC buff and some other nice skills, but totally because of armor buffPosted in: Barbarian: Bastion's Keep
