For 1.0.4, we're taking a good look at some of the most unpopular skills for each class, figuring out why they aren't being used in your builds, and then seeing how we can make them better -- either by redesigning how they work or just buffing the hell out of them.
So, in all the examples they give, the fix is just to buff the number values of under used skills. Don't get me wrong, I think this needed to be done, but it could have happened months ago in a simple tuesday patch. I kind of expected something new... maybe Cleave building stacks of a bleed on elites or something. Maybe when the patch notes are released we will see more redesigns and not just buffed values added to existing skills.

I marked all my current auctions down to blowout prices. Hopefully some good drops will come when I'm farming recipes and Demonic's tomorrow.

1. A blacksmith that has been raised to level 10 should be able to identify all the items in your bag on sight.
2. Health potions should be changed to "percentage" instead of a fixed amount.
3. All act end bosses should drop one rare item of at least level 61 that is class specific to your class, this item also has a chance to be a class specific legendary.

The unique build that he is running on the live stream allows him to keep up the "Wrath of the Berserker" buff for a continuous and unlimited amount of time. He accomplishes this by constantly fighting and gaining Fury, while burning off excess Fury with Rend. If he stops, or the run to the next monster pack is too long, the buff is lost and goes to cooldown.

I finally did get a Legendary wand, but it was just a level 59 that sold for 400k.

1. Never got upgrades from drops, even while farming Inferno acts 1 & 2.
2. Increased repair costs from patch 1.03 made him lose money by just playing the game in Act 3.

Now I can stop creating new characters just to sell their starting weapons for gold.

Crazy, I know. I really went out on a limb with that prediction.

Looking at Diablo 3 now, I can't find much interest in grinding champion packs for hours in the very slight chance that something valuable will drop, that I can sell to get the item I really want.

Same company line, "All your issues will be addressed in some future patch at some unspecified time. Meanwhile, we can't talk about any specifics. We love you!"
Fanboys will recite this mantra ad nauseum for a few more months like good little soldiers. Meanwhile, forget about pvp in 2012.
