    Kill Bill anyone??

But on a more serious note, I really hope they implement visual customisation soon. I've already stockpiled gear to mix and match :D

Quote - "They added artificial complexity to the game, but didn’t actually add much in the way of customization. They also often rendered a remarkable penalty, in that if you mis-allocated a stat point or skill the wrong way, or simply wanted to change it at a later point in time, you were out of luck, as you were locked to your original choice."

Why can't they just implement a "respec" button, its not like they havn't already put in any mmo features into the game!!! /sarc off

Quote- "We also don’t believe that the current skill system would really benefit from a free allocation of stats, either. We think that players can achieve a sizable level of customization through runes, and that this system fits in much better with the overall design of the game."

How can they say that runes provide a sizeable level of customisation, have they even looked at the runes! The majority of runes are not worth picking and offer no real difference to play styles.

Quot - "While we enjoyed allocating stats and having intricate skill trees in Diablo II (as well as the benefits they provided), we ultimately feel the current stat and skill system is better for Diablo III. We heavily iterated on the skill trees and stat points in Diablo III for quite some time, but we felt that they simply didn’t fit the direction we wanted to go with the game...."

This why my hopes for Diablo 3 ever being great is dying fast, what I think (and I suspect the majority of D3 fans are with me on this, but I can only speak for myself) D3 should be is not what Jay Wilson & Co imagine the game to be. With all the feedback, all the ideas, and all constructive suggestions the fans have given them, its not that they're can't make it happen, it's just doesn't fit their "vision" for the game.

So I've given up hope. I wish was wrong, and by the ARPG Gods, I wish I will be proven wrong but I'm left now only to imagine how different D3 would be, if the old Blizz North team have finished it instead.

posted a message on Questions about Rend vs Gob & HotA vs health link
    Hi Guys,

I'm not too familiar with the mechanics of the game, I'd just came back after patch 1.05 and noticed somethings which seems odd. I'm not sure if they are bugs, glitchess...etc or new changes to the game. I don't see anything in the patch notes that would explain it.

First question; when I used rend(blood lust) on a goblin it does not always apply the bleed dot, even if I'm literally face hugging that goblin more often then not, it takes about two Rend applications to see the bleed dot take affect. For the record, I use skorn, and I can tell the different between skorn bleed and Rend bleed. Would the skorn bleed be interfering with me applying the Rend bleed affect?

Second question; as I remembered, prior to patch 1.05, if you fight packs with health link, the monsters with periodically normalise their hp pool to even out, however what I've noticed now when I crit hit those same monsters, the damage figures that shows up is a third of what it should be. My normal crit hit of HotA(smash) is around 900k - 1.4mil-ish(avg around 1.1ish mil). But when fighting health link packs that number is reduced down to 300k - 400k ish. It doesn't matter if I hit 2 or 3 in the one swing, it doesn't seem to do the same full damage. So did Blizz do something new with health link??

Last question, whats the coefficient for life per sec? I have 571 and getting around 363 per tick, does that sound right?

    Thanks in advance,

I'm currently overstocked and running out of storage space (Blizz needs to give us another 2 tabs in the stash!!!) so everything you see much go.

    Updated Item List: http://i45.tinypic.com/1parkj.jpg

    - I will sell to the first person who offers a price with which we both can agree on, so its first come first serve.

    - I'm flexible with price and open for bargaining, no reasonable offer will be refused.

When we are making the transaction please quote the item code (yellow font) or item name and gear type - this is just to help me keep track of my inventory.

If you're interested in RMAH I can put the desired item up at the agreed price.

    Battletag : FrecX#1560.

I'm an Aussie so please take into consideration our timezone differences for ingame trade. We're ~ 17hrs ahead of US Pacific Standard Time

    ****DISCLAIMER****

Please note, I reserve the right to sell to whom ever I choose, when ever I choose and at the agreed price, unless I'd promise before-hand to reserve said item.

I will update the list as best I can.

    Thank you.

    Quote from egaleix

After check rest of proc chances changes it seems to me more a typo than the real change. Maybe is 1 ---> 0.8. Would be more similar with rest of changes.

I doubt its a type - and I really wonder why they didnt nerf the proc co on sprint tornadoes??? ... seem to nerf every other proc coh except for them. Seriously ...

I didnt care about all the dbl tornado peeps as long as I could play with my anvil build ... now this wont work ...

With the new Stone of Jordan, Skull ring and a shield with max HotA fury reduction, we can potential still pull off the Anvil build.

posted a message on 1.0.4 Jagged Spikes nerf - end of DH tank?
The way it see it now, its seems to be part of a trend to nerf the weighting of loh and maybe shift gear itemisation and priority to other healing stats like life steal, life after kill...etc.

Just look at the nerf to Wiz's ww, barb's Crushing Advance, Devil's Anvil, and now DH Jaggered Spikes.

I really enjoyed the Anvil build though and was looking forward to trying it out with a 2h, now looks like I have to invest more into fury reduction gear to make it work.

yeah the nerf to Crushing Advance is also disappointing. Again they could've just tone down the proc rate to a reasonable number other then remove it all together. Now its kinda useless - again too heavy handed imho.

I was very excited about the HotA damage buff but then I read this,

Skill Rune - The Devil's Anvil
    • Proc coefficient reduced from 1 to 0.08
Who else thinks this nerf was a bit heavy handed? I enjoy the Anvil build despite the superiority of the tronado build, to me nothing screams "Barbarian" more then being able to spam a giant hammer into the faces of your enermies.

From 1 down to 0.08 is too harsh imho, I would've been be ok with a 30% proc rate. Anyone else feels the same way?

The way I'm reading it, it sounds like loh will no longer trigger from Crushing Advance. If this is true, I'm be very disappointed :(

posted a message on RMAH timeframes...this is normal??
I was wondering if your experiences with the RMAH are like mine,

I'd recently sold some gold on the RMAH, it's been 4 days now and the funds haven't been updated on my b.net account. It's currently still under the "process" status in my completed tab. I'd also sold some items a day or two after having sold my gold and those transactions have been completely proccessed.

It is normal for blizz to take so long to process the transaction for gold?
