Fact is, sure, you can go to the bank and try to pull back the money you paid for the item, but, if you do, I believe Blizzard is likely to ban the whole account for fraud. If you buy on the RMAH, and say it was a bad transaction, i.e. stolen card, then Blizzard's going to ban the account, or at least ban RMAH use, and make the item disappear from your character when they get the chargeback.
I have no sympathy for the OP. Take responsibility for your own actions. Research your $150 purchase before doing it.

I farmed Inferno last night. (Act 1/2/3)
And found a metric TON of i61/62/63 gear. (more then I have ever found in such a short time before)
What are you tinhatters crying about again? You had a bad DAY as in ONE DAY with RNG and now its a plot?
Good lord you guys are a joke. -

Now true, there is a very real and legally binding Terms of Service or EULA that we all "read" and signed saying we agreed that this exact thing is okay to do to us
You answered your own question. If you don't want to take the chance of an item you spent real money on changing, don't use the ah. -

Trombone reminds me of Anonymous in some way. What he does and says, (says mainly) is the hard truth and brings you back to reality, unfortunately like with Anonymous, both them and Trombone are understood by the very few handful, and mindlessly criticized by the sheep.
So because you find his mindset similar to yours you are declaring his opinion as "the hard truth" but people who think differently are "sheep"?
So basically you are telling me to ignore your posts. Got it. Thanks for the heads up. -

For me, games are a hobby. I get maybe an hour a night to do Diablo. At any point when it stops being fun I am not going to sit down and try and analyze why. I am not going to make a post on any forums telling people I am done and here is why. I am just going to move on to something else. For me, that's just makes sense.
And for me games are mind-breakers that help me distinct between my everyday work having largely abstract bases. I actually don't primarily play games to sit down and have fun, I play them mostly to restart my brain - so to speak.
I wouldn't dare to say that I am trying to analyze such. I am simply pointing out a trend that seems obvious to me after having read through forums once in a while. And the reason I do it is 'cause I think people should think of the bigger picture instead of focusing on rage coming from a single person - and I must simply admit I find it hilarious that so many people react so easily to rage.
In my case, I am not reacting with rage, I tend to react to people who confuse inability to manage complex games systems with them being bad systems or broken. In the case of your post specifically, I responded to your invalid correlation of players being bored and players quitting over class changes being significant in regards to leaving a game if you don't like it. Players not enjoying the game should quit, regardless of the reason. But trying to say "well, they were bored, but still playing until there was one more nail in the coffin" is valid in and of itself, but just obfuscating the point. Those people who were bored should have left too, since it is clear they already weren't having fun, instead of just doing their time.
In other words - your point that the game has issues which will drive people away is valid. Your point that repetition is boring is valid. Your point that for some people who were already bored, nerfs to their chosen cheesy gameplay mechanic of choice is valid. And is valid for everyone in every game, and every pursuit, not specifically to D3. All of which has nothing to do with not continuing to do something you do not enjoy (although working doesn't give you much choice lol). I agree with your point in general, but it doesn't really have anything to do with this post, or the specific comment you quoted.
And if I misread if you linked them, I apologize. But the fact still stands, that regardless of how they arrived at their unhappiness with the game, if they are unhappy, they should leave. And it would be nice if people would stop assuming that because some small percentage of vocal players do not like a game means the game is significantly flawed too. -

Slayerviper posted a message on Completely screwed/scammed from recent Diablo patchObviously you didn't pay attention (was announced over two weeks ago), but I think your just a troll... if you paid $250 for an item you straight up have too much money.Posted in: Diablo III General Discussion
On another note, items never retain their value.... items are only worth what the purchaser is willing to pay. -

There's a difference between being critical and being a whiner. There are plenty of people who post here and the official forums with honest analysis about what they were expecting, and why they're disappointed, and what they'd like to see done differently. Those threads tend to garner respect and foster some interesting back and forth before passing quickly and quietly off the front page. People who disagree find middle ground, see things from other people's perspectives and put forth productive suggestions that they feel might satisfy both sides of an issue.
Then there are people who have a driving need to have their petty ego's protected by by seeing other people agree with them in their nerd-rage. This is the sort of poster that cannot distinguish their own subjective opinion from an undeniable fact. "XYZ is clearly broken, and Blizzard doesn't care. They just want your muneez!" They bring nothing of value, but they drive heavy traffic because people get mad when they see blatant stupidity, and have a hard time not engaging. These threads stay on the front page for days at a time as people get invested in pointless "last word" competitions and the gravitational drama well sucks more people in constantly.
If the newspaper industry were doing better, these latter people could seek jobs as political or sports columnists. People whose job it is to put forth loud and logically incongruous arguments on a regular basis, because the awful truth about the nature of media consumption is that in the aggregate people will spend more time engaging with something stupid and offensive than they will with something thoughtful and insightful.

Yes, we all know how you feel. You never miss a chance to restate your opinion in any thread about WD's. No one has silenced you. Keep sharing. It's your thing.
Not sure why someone else having an opinion is such a threat to you, though... even though I didn't even express an opinion. I just think it's funny that people jumped on this dude with a tone that made me think he was a noob until i checked him out, only to find out... he's been busy making tutorials for the last two weeks.

You can't ever get these things perfect on the first try. Something goofy like Spider Queen will be unpredictably radically overpowered. Everyone will powerlevel a WD right in time for the rune to get nerfed. Rage will abound.
They'll patch and update, and at all costs avoid screwing with how the game plays in a PvE sense for the sake of PvP. Some people will rage. Some people will dance for joy.
Eventually they'll stop tinkering with it, and some folks will play for years and years and get deep down into the theorycrafting meta.
Then when D4 comes out, rage will abound that PvP isn't more like the good old days of D3.

Be glad you don't drop all the gear you had equipped every time you die, get stuck back in town, and become forced to run back naked to retrieve your gear.

We routinely had to say "yes, I am sorry. You have a pool membership, but the pool is just not available right now. This is part of running a pool." Some people occasionally canceled membership, but most understood because they liked our pool. It was an awesome pool on the 5th floor with a view of Central Park. Trekking out to Coney Island to swim in cold ocean water was not a preferable alternative, so they stayed members.

There are hundreds of them on the AH, most for 50-100k
