Release the god damn pvp already thats what I want. They said pvp would be and and they just keep holding it back. They couldve released an arena based pvp system and then released some improved version of it after, the arena versions and duel versions have worked before so unless they made some serious mistakes along the way it should be atleast bareable.

    Quote from Faun

I've never said to get a thing of the deep.. just saying to get pickup radus. I did not specify on what items.

I know, just feel like I have to point that out since people have a tendency to go for legendaries when rares actually can do the job just as good atleast at the start. Go for a offhand with much damage and good stats is very important, that 20 yard pickup is secondary.

    Quote from Maximillian91

Tbh I find Pick-up radius to be a trivial statt.

If you are running gruesome feast and grave injustice its not. It decreases the time spent needing to pickup to keep that massive buff up and also to keep your mana up while also getting your spell quickly reset.

This is of course only talking about one single type of build, although it seems to be the most popular one atleast pre mp. Even if you are running some other build having atleast one +7 radius is probably a good choice, its a cheap stat and there are moments where picking them up can be helpful.

Get Gruesome fest + an item with increased radius. It will improve your survivability and dps alot.
I have no problems with mp3 with this char:
    eu.battle.net/d3/en/profile/Loki-2692/hero/15693933

Its probably better if you buy cheap rares with good stats which also happen to have pickup radius as opposed to a single item like thing of the deeps which is likely to be overpriced if it has any decent stats. Just saying, that item isnt as good as you would imagine considering you can easily reach 3*7 pickup with other items and thats likely to be enough.

Do NOT try to sell stuff on the wd forums, you should sell on the trade forums. And ffs read the stickies.

    Quote from Grabbler

Bad Medicine is bad either way ))) Jungle Fortitude is much better. Well, it can help team in coop but there're better passives for that in any case.

No, it isnt and no, there isnt. First its the only one that helps your team, excluding final gift abuse. Second it reduces damage more than jungle passive and if you arent dealing poison damage once every 3 secs you are probably doing something wrong (discounting fire only builds of course).

    Quote from Belzebuss

So for ubers you need LOH or Life leech? damm ill have to change all my gear LOL xD

If you can do it in groups then life on hit/steal is much less needed, especially if you got a tanky character soaking the majority of the damage. I rarely play d3 solo anymore and the builds are completely diffrent. Ex: Big bad voodoo is insane with full group and bad medicine is better since it benefits the whole group.

I bet particularly legendaries that arent top, but still good will drop in prices because thier droprate doubled and the extra magic find from higher monster powers will increase thier droprate even further. I bet it will be about the same with rares though, especially if most people can get a hold of decent equal legendaries easier.

posted a message on primary attack build?
    Quote from Nevi

Almost every build is a primary attack build, in that it tries to make optimal use of a primary. But since you have mana anyway, and it regens at a pretty fast pace even without any regen items, you may as well take at least 1 spender in your build.

Actually most wd builds seem to be about using bears, acid cloud or some other mana spender the most and then a primary when they you are oom.

Since the reduction of monster damage and the increased mana regen using only a primary is very obviously not optimal and pierce the veil has gone from perhaps being the best passive into being one of those average passives which you could use but there always is something better because the damage per mana and damage per second seems to decrease when you use it.

Spiders and a good secondary aoe attack like acid cloud is alright as well. Not a optimal build but certainly very playable.

Ghost bomb aoe is pretty weak vs elites 30%.
From my experience spiders work quite ok, especially with damage increased gear, fire rune. Hard to explain it, since their damage shouldn't be far superior to toads.

I think its because they hit on basically all thier hits, while toads dont.

what do you think? should I go for 1h+mojo or Skorn with LoH/LS ? thank you for your input

This topic is basically about how complex it can be, a good skorn is certainly a very good item although its very hard to tell if it improves your survivability and if you are looking for higher dps then just use a spreadsheet or excel document (take them with a grain of salt) and then think about how you like to play.

Ex: My friends wd has to have a lot more loh than I do for him to play comfortably.

Is 1h/mojo or 2h skorn more ideal?

Thats a complex question. Atm thing of the deep or atleast high pickup radius and gruesome feast seems to be the most popular. Skorn is certainly a very good item though and a big twohander is always nice to have when you are using bears or have mana problems. I get the feeling that if you get an ideal onehander and offhand then they are somewhat better, although much harder to get. You also really dont need ideal weapons to faceroll monsters in diablo3, atleast not atm.

How should we know? But it is Blizzard. Even the most absurd bugs are possible )

Now thats unfair, blizzard is actually pretty good at squashing bugs in thier mmos. Atleast compared to most other game companies.

Fixing bugs and balancing are two diffrent things though.

Tested Haunt in 1.0.4 and it definitely isn't doing such tiny damage as if it was on 0 Intellect. Not sure what the actual bug is, or if it was PTR only or what.

Yeah, must be on the new spell that got 6sec duration and not the live one. I tested it as well and the flaw with it wasnt low damage, it was that the damage was spread over such a long duration and on bosses it was often hard to tell if it had run out.

But putting 2 blobs on one target only means one DOT right? Or do they stack

They stack. Sometimes they also block the pathing of the monsters, although you dont really get to use that very often.
