Your gear is amazing. You chose to go for full dex, it's not a bad thing but you need to be decently skilled and good at avoiding missiles and mortars. You will learn this in time. If this won't work out you can go for a more vit/resist oriented build. This will drastically lower your dps but it makes you able to take 2-3 hits. Note that that gear is A LOT more expencive and also used by monks. Another option is going for the Natalya's set to get the bonus discipline regeneration. This way you can cast smoke screen once every 3 seconds instead of once every 10 seconds (when you are not at full discipline obv.)Posted in: Demon Hunter: The Dreadlands
Maybe you use a weird build? With smoke screen and preparation you should be able to kill most elite packs out of invisibility.
As follower I'd suggest you to use a scoundrel with a bow that is ice enchanted, then give him the multi shot ability so he will slow monsters for you all the time.
Hope this helps.

This game is so much more like WoW then D2. In D2 legendarys were good, and not very rare, making them great to farm better gear (and crafted gear) note that rares have always been the best, just that it's "the other way around" (in D3 rares are easy to find and well rolled legendarys might be better than rares in 1.1)Posted in: Diablo III General Discussion
In WoW you will want to be fully equipped in Epics, Legendarys are the D3 equivalent of Epics.. I mean.. you're going to want to be fully equipped in PURPLZZZZZZ not blues! (or brownzz and not yellows!)
It's really awkward that you farm all day and find hundreds of rares (which can be good) and only 1 legendary which you know will suck even before you ID it.

I can farm act III and IV in inferno by blizzard+hydra kiting while shooting a few piercing orbs every now and then.Posted in: Wizard: The Ancient Repositories
Spec: Venom Hydra, Snowbound Blizzard, Force Weapon, Force Armor, Shock Pulse Piercing orb, Teleport fracture
Passive: Illusionist, galvanize ward (for reflect damage..), glass cannon
Gear: I stack intellect, attack speed, crit, crit dmg and all resist (physical is most important). With enough armor and resistance to everything I won't die in 1 hit, that means my force armor will absorb almost all dmg and I take 35% of my hp as damage instead. I have only 17k hp and I always die in 3 hits. I have about 680 resistance to everything with a few over 760 (physic and fire).

The amount might differ as OP said, but the items are the same. (But so is the difficulty :P)Posted in: Diablo III General Discussion

Suppose WD is easyest for soling. Have a solid tank (gargantuan) templar heals before it dies and many selfheal potential (hex with selfheal soul harvest with heal spirit walk with heal is what I use).Posted in: Diablo III General Discussion
I can farm inferno act 1 and 2 without much difficulty. 20k dps 42k hp WD.
My friend (monk) died alot in act3-4 hell also, but when I gave him some vitality+dex+allresist items that problem was easily solved. Guess its the same for barb

Someone nice enough to give me one of their guest pass codes so I can get some progress going before I get the game? I will reward you with let's say 10 salvaged blues or just a new guest pass when it arrives.Posted in: Diablo III General Discussion
I would appreciate it really really much!
Thanks in advance!
