Posted in: Monk: The Inner SanctuaryNot a fan of the Beacon of Ytar for this build. You don't have enough CD abilities for it to be worth it in my opinion.
Agreed. Ill take a look at it.
Ok here's what i think. If you use crippling wave you might want to change fleet footed with Resolve cause when you use CW you affect all targets around you with 25% reduced dmg which is better than Fleet footed since Diablo gameplay never focused on range of monsters. And you have Dashing strike which will help you hop between mobs and 10% speed is not that much in general.
Its a good idea, but i think people completely underestimate the power of speed. Increasing the time it takes me to get from 1 mob to another by .1 seconds, decreases the time in which im not attacking and makes it harder to keep on the stacks of the 3 buffs in this spec, and also increases my damage by 10% of my dps, which is small, but over a 3 hour act, is HUGE. the other thing is you say that i can just use abilities to get from mob to mob faster, which is the plan, but i do not depend on that, seeing as when the game gets harder, i need to have those abilities for utility, not just speed...
Ill take a look at the ytar ty

1 - let blizz decide if they need more time for the stress test, u act as if you know that they do because of the constant crashing. Obviously its helping them in some way. and obviously if they need more time and people, they could open it if they needed to.Posted in: Diablo III General Discussion
Imo they are giving us an inch and you are asking for a mile.
Im happy they opened the beta server for us, im happy we can help them, and i hope that m15 will be a smooth release, but i know that this has shown me the years of hard work that people have put into this. they have gone past what was necessary and are at the point of outstanding.
so, thank you blizzard.

Now that people have played, what do you think about this build?Posted in: Monk: The Inner Sanctuary
The requirement of this build, so far that i have seen, is that it needs a macro for the primary skills, since spamming it in game ends up in a randomization of skills.

There is something we can do about it, that's why these forums exist, but i think that we are judging this to quickly. The moment i logged on to the beta, and logged in, i saw little things here and there that just didn't make sense and to me, seemed bad... So i took a deep breath and took a second look at it. For ex. gold dropping off monsters. having to run over it all is a pain, everyone in their right mind is going to pick it up, why not have it automatic... but then i sat there and looked at it, you know what. i think its an interesting animation, having the gold fly out of creatures. I look at the abilities and glyph's the same way. Im level 8. Its 1 build or the other, neither really matter because the dps change is not even noticeable. But when i think of the way each skill works vs the other. and how important some can change placement and dps in a fight that could be 5 times as long as ones in the beta. It gives me a different perspectivePosted in: Diablo III General Discussion
So, in a few words.
It is just to soon to tell
Don't say we have no say in anything, this game is for us, we have all the say.
And try looking at it from a different perspective :).

one thing id like to know what you think, is that on co-op play, the mobs have more hp but have no increase to damage... What do you think about this. i didn't see an issue with it initially, but when i actually did co-op, it seemed ridiculous, on bosses, it did make it a little more interesting, seeing as the boss lives longer and can use more abilities, making it harder, but for normal trash, i just found it weird. what do you think?Posted in: Diablo III General Discussion
