i remember that season 2 (?) PTR dude, that constantly posted his "world first" kills after every wipe.

    That was real funny.

Wait for that big wipe in approx. 2 months. You'll be crying your eyes out.

It doesn't work that way I don't believe. Everything that is in the cache is determined when you get it.

That's what I thought at first but the guy said it worked on the ptr. It will probably not work from patch to patch.

posted a message on Doing bounty now to get mats when the patch goes live ?

    So here's the question.

A guy on the community "seasonal rifting" said that if you collect bounty caches on live and then transfer your toon on the ptr with the cache you'll get all the new materials to test the Kanai's cube.

He think that it will stay the same if you keep all the cache now and open them when patch 2.3 goes live.

For me I think that what's in the cache right now will stay the same because you got them before the patch 2.3 so openning them later won't matter.

What are your thought on that. And can someone confirmed with a BLUE ?

I play a different build with less crowd control. And I can already say that I saw more "immune" and "resist" than I used to saw. It's affecting me a bit but I can't tell how much precisely since I didn't have the time to test it out much on the ptr.

posted a message on Patch 2.3: Botter's Heaven?

I read the first two pages, that is where I stop because seeing the same comment coming back over and over was tiresome, than I jump to your comment.

I get the point. Being myself as a "casual" D3 gamer. By that I mean playing 2h a day not every day for a month and then stop a month and comeback again. I'm not a competitive player either. But when I play any open game I almost saw 1 or 2 botter in every round. (Like dropping a leg in act 2 town at the end of the road and seeing a guy coming instantly all the way to me and trying to pick up the leg i just dropped.) Maybe it's a bad example but that was there to say that I know bots are a real problem in the game. But the topic title is not making any sens. Getting rid of an entire game mechanics just because of the botters is not a solution and banning all the bots, well I don't think it's possible either.

I don't know if I've got all your idea correctly but I think that if you don't reward the player if he or it (the botter) didn't participate in the whole process of getting that reward is a great idea. That would eliminate a great deal of players fishing for reward. (that's the programmer in me that is talking lol)

    1. If you're "AFK" for more that 51% of the act bounties then you don't get the cache.
    2. If you came in at the last minute or after that 51% of the act bounties has been done then you don't get the cache.
    3. If you came in a game that 51% of the rift is done then you can't enter the rift.

Something along those line... (the 51% is just a guide line to say that if you don't get to do at least half of the work you don't get paid, as an example.)

I don't think that could resolve all the problem and I don't think my solution is the best one or if I did get all of what Bagstone was trying to say but I do think that some people at Blizzard should really watch that problem.

p.s. : I didn't see the "-2" or where is it that you can see if a thread had more importance than another. I don't go that often on the official forum I prefer diablofans.

    Quote from Ballsmcgruder»

I wish they would make your item storage box larger or even make one for each character with another next to it to use for all. As cool as it is to have 800 billion different items it blows you can only have a few characters to use them. I have 3 different demon hunter builds and still cannot use everything I would like to try. You have to have at least 3 of each if you wanna test all the stuff but not enough spaces for all that. I need a box to hold 500 items for everything being added. Don't get me wrong though I love all the additions every season. I have 8 xbox one games I haven't opened because I cannot stop playing this for the year plus it has been out.

The Kanai cube will help a lot with the storage problem. For me at least. All the legs I have in season and ns are things that "could" be usefull for X or Y build. Having a way to keep the affix without the item will be a great relieve for me and for some others.

Getting a little worried that I'm not going to see this before the event ends. :-( I don't have an enormous amount of playtime, but I spent my free time on the weekend running bounties and no portal. I'll probably have less opportunity to play for the rest of the event than I've already spent.

Any tips on maximizing my chances (beyond just "doing bounties")?

Like i said before. I was doing bounty for 3-4 hours and never got one. The first one that i've got I was looking for it. The second one I have found it by accident and the third was by doing bounties. And I've found another one this afternoon just by running around act 2.

So my guess is, Run around without using portals and you'll find them soon enough.

I saw a goblin portal once with no goblin but it desapear the second I touch it. Don't know if it was that but I have been running key farm for 2h and nothing so far.

i actually had a few of these.. there is one goblin u will only see if u get close enough, but sometime even if u hit it, it will just run away into the portal... i geuss there is a bugg with this goblin..

Not all the time u have the chance to kill it, when u see it. but again this is D3, i even wrote to blizzard about the graveyard rift boss that didnt drop any loot in PTR but it was still bugging when SEASON 3 went live... ://// WHAT CAN I SAY.....

AND no Cow lvl is not a goblin portal but a cow you need to kill for the portal to open..

I found it 3 times since my last post. And here is what I think happen when you know you have one.

The first time I went with some friends and they all went using portals but I ran out of the village in act 1. As soon as I drop out of the ceilling in the cathedral I heard a big "MOOOOO". Didn't know by the time if I had one but about half way through the first floor I saw a RED portal, a bit like a blood theif portal on the map and there was a cow standing right next to it.

The second time I was alone doing bounties on act 1. And went on foot from south to north highlands. As soon as I enter the north part I heard a "MOOOOO" again. And the cow with his RED portal was in a lower path on the right.

The third time I was with a friend and he was the one who found it. He was running bounty with me in act 3. He found the cow with his RED portal on the 3rd floor just before killing Ghom. He was using portals so I ask him before he went to far and killed the cow if he can backtrack a bit and take the stairs up and down again if he would hear the cow. And he did.

So my conclusion is. When you're on foot and get into a zone where the cow is you will hear it MOOO's. So you know there is one. But it doesn't seem to MOOOO's when using portals.

For the most part, the cow level is somewhat entertaining but not much. We didn't find a lot of legs in there. Maybe 4 total split within a total of 7 players in 3 games. But the blues are good. If you pick them all you could end up having near 100 dust for 1 cow level.

You're spells don't care what weapon you use as long as you can equip it. The exception is DH where bows are specified in the skill requirement.

    "you're spells" really? REALLY? i can't even...

OP, craft the first one you can until you get an ancient one, cinder and sunder would do the job 'till you find a 2h flail ;)

Thanks ! I wasn't sure what to think about the "spells" thing. When you're leveling up a toon 1 to 70 the only spells that matter is the one who make kill things faster. I've craft an 1h ancient flail with lots of AS. It was 5 hours ago, now level 70 i'm just waiting for a Golden Flense and a Rolland sets.

    Hi Saders !

I want to start a new Crusader this season and I can't decide what weapon to craft first for leveling. Since there is no 2h legendary Flail to craft. Would I be better with the 1h flail "golden scourge" or the 2h Axe Cinder Switch or the 2h mace Sunder ?

The weapon will only be for leveling purpose and possibly ancient with a gem of ease.

    Thanks for your reply.
