TBH, I find it a refreshing change to SC and in so much better condition that HC. Yes, prices are higher, but this means YOU can sell for more as well. The door swings both ways.
As an example, I had a great drop from my first HC character for a level 8 Rare ring that sold in a heartbeat for 850,000. No one would have bought this in SC, why bother, just get to 60 ASAP.
I then found a Rare from a little girl vender in Act 2 (can't remember where) that was a good Lvl 14 Source. I bought it for 11,000 and sold it for 450,000.
So you know... my first & only HC character is around Level 20 and I have 1.3 Mil already.
I know I'll need money for Inferno gear, so I am careful about drops and if they have a resale value. I find that unlike SC, you can't just BUY from the AH in HC, you have to PLAY the AH as well in order to use it. In other words, you have to participate.
This is cool. I cant help but wonder why Blizzard D3 team never had these kind of discussions. The current affixes are more like entry level ideas. There is nothing exciting about them whatsoever.
I've said it before, D3 has felt like a demo/open beta since launch and still does. Most of my friends have stopped playing D3 and near as I can tell the only ones still playing are still passionate about Diablo and therefore spend just as much time talking about the changes needed as they do playing the game.
I love that Blizzard released a game, with numerous game mechanics that are undesirable to the player only for said player to then point out these design flaws for them to fix over time.
No joke, it feels like this a Beta game and we are all game testers working for free.
Seriously though, I accept D3 for what it is. I enjoy it on a very base level, nothing like its predecessor which I played for ages. I would say that its got about another 6 months left and that'll be it unfortunately.
<sigh> ... yeh, I dunno. I've gotten as far as the log in screen for several weeks now, but cant think of any reason to play.
Got the patch up and running last night, logged in and checked the AH instead of actually playing the game, (which I thought was weird) then simply turned it off. Not a QQ post, I've just got other, more fun things to do.
and yet here you are, talking about d3 because those other things you are doing are so enthralling.
Yes, as are you. Your point?
By your logic, I have to do other things 24/7 and not allowed to come to D3 forums and discuss. Idiot.

NIce. The rolls are a little ordinary this round, but hey, blame D3 for that. I think its good they identify live so you see they are not just intentionally giving away (mostly) ordinary Legendary's.
Firstly, I truely believe you are satisfying a very narrow audience with that choice of music. Holy shit, my ears were about to bleed 30 seconds into the video.
Haha... yeh... You could use the interlude around 1:41, that kinda work ok, but the rest.. puke!. Nice killin' nonetheless.

Belial got him in Nightmare MP1. My invincibility was on CD and I had about 1 second left when he breathed poison on me.

A simple ARPG that has to be worried about 'The Economy' though...
Does anyone else find that kind of strange?
