posted a message on What did Blizzard do wrong in D3?
    Honestly,
    - Their skill system blows. I look at it and I see clear best choices, when you are in inferno you have very little room to play around also.

    - Auto stats pretty much did ruin the game. This made items have much much bigger importance, which fails because their itemization blows so bad.

    - Lack of variety in items, uniques are worthless and provide no actual unique affixes, they are just beefed up magics.

    - No PvP as of yet, fact they are sticking their hands in the PvP scares the hell out of me, they can't even comprehend and handle the "core" foundation of Diablo how are they going to handle an "after thought" feature?

    - Inferno while passable, is just cheap. Demon / Dark souls is hard until you learn how to play and learn the motions like a good old NES game. D3, you can learn everything, but it won't matter a damn bit if you got lesser gear or a bad roll.

    - Leech blows, I want life leech and mana leech. I want to be able to build my guy so I can have unlimited resource. The Amazon outshines the DH by a ton in this factor. I don't want to be forced to use 7 different skills because the developers think it creates fun. It doesn't, forcing me to play a game I was already accustom to for over a decade in a different manner isn't fun. Why do they even have leech in the game? It is worthless thus far ha.

I can probably list crap all day, but yea.

    Quote from Letlive

I dont get what the big deal is with people wanting to have RMAH free servers.

Diablo 3 is great for me, as I hate playing with General-Joe public as 85% of the time, you get idiots. For me I only play with my friends and it's like having our own server as in our eyes there's only 12-15 or so of us that we actually interact with.

Whatever anyone else is using/farming/exploiting etc doesn't bother nor affect me in the slightest as its as if they dont exist to me.

What I'm trying to say; you're not forced to use or interact with anyone who uses the RMAH.

    e: Spelling.
Kinda the same deal regarding PvP open games, or a hostile system. A portion of the player base wants it, but Blizzard feels it is best if it is left out. They also don't want to "seperate" their fanbase. All in all, they should just do it, it isn't like anyone plays public games anyway ha.

    :(
Whats so bad about forcing people to play/experience the game content?
I seriously doubt that blizzard's goal was for people to make a game every 30 seconds so they can run after a goblin or destroy 20 jars.
IDK, I wish they made a world that was worth playing through the content ha. They wouldn't have to stop everyone from playing how they want to play if they made a world entertaining enough to play over and over again. D2 didn't prevent or stop people from playing how they wanted and it was amazing, this...this is just sad.

    D2 =/= D3
    Blizzard North =/= Activision-Blizzard
    Diablo = Diablo
Sequel or not, no excuse. That is like me saying Chrono Cross gets a pass because it is a sequel to Trigger but if you don't look at it as a sequel it is great. Only way to properly judge it is by it being what it is, a sequel to a damn great game and it simply doesn't compare.

    Quote from Revelations

I can understand people who pay $250 for something in game, hell even more than that amount.
BUT DIABLO 3? I mean come on, who is retarded enough to pay anything over $10 for an item in such a shitty game with no future.
Ha I am an avid Diablo 3 hater pretty much, but damn you are one angry person. I at least don't shit on the players who enjoy the game, I just shit on the shitty devs who made the game.

My plan is don't bother playing till PvP gets released, maybe even sell my character before then for cash. Once PvP gets released the RMAH will be calmer and more intelligently priced. Find out whats what in PvP and buy from there. Odds are I won't use RMAH though because odds are prices will be higher because of the fees. So black market I go!

I am hoping for a Druid class. Please Blizzard?
A really cool class like the Druid might persuade me to pick it up even if the PvP blows though. I loved the Druid in D2, but again, it will only last me so long till I get bored ha.

Right because WW away from Hammerdins was impossible. Zerk locking them was impossible. Ele druids totally got stomped by Hammerdins right? That is your best reason here? Your hacked and bugged ridden 1.09 HC dueling? Please try again, I can't wait to see what you got next ha.

And for this delusional guy haha:
"How do you create pvp balance in a game where a lvl 99 can hostile a lvl 50? or in a game that's so gear dependent that if you took 2 players playing the exact same class with the exact same skills and stats and same skill level. The more geared player would win. How is that balanced? "

    - Well let's see, my level 29 stomped level 99's. So level means very little, even at high level play with high level gear a level 85 can stomp anyone.
    - It is hardly gear dependent, I could buy charsi gear and totally ruin you and 6 of your friends at the same time while you wear the best gear you can find. Simply because you obviously don't know the game haha.
    - Ok so 2 players playing exact same class with exact same skills and stats at same level... and the more geared wins? So I guess we don't dodge attacks anymore. We don't aim attacks anymore. I guess all of those #1 ladder spots I owned where I was lower level and out geared were a myth, good to know.

Ladder ranking was directly based off level/difficulty.

    You never played D2 seriously.

    Called out.
Oh my god really? Is this kid really posting this haha? Seriously!? You honestly believe I am posting about that garbage leveling ladder rank? HAHAH! I can't even begin to describe.....

Seriously haha, just move, just keep on moving buddy. Nothing to see here.

    lol

Bitch please, I have played more D2 then you could ever imagine, I was better at PvP/PK in it then you ever were. (What was your character name? Screen name? East? West? I got a few people here wondering who you are, saying you "were kind of a big deal", roflol.)

You are just mad because you got caught lying about it like a little try hard. (anyone who has EVER been on Ladder in D2 understands how it works, you obviously do not.)

Keep failing so hard at life that you need to make up achivements in a video game to save face.

    You are a joke kiddo.
Ooo... now this I like. This is what Diablo is about ladies and gentleman. A guy thinking hes a bad ass while I apparently think the same. We battle with words and characters. Fine, look up me and my brothers achievements if you want buddy. VladDracul, ARabidHobo, KazigluBey, Dirge, Mullaxul, Obituaries, MaraDracul. We have stomped the best East has for years, if you know anyone in PvP, then we dominated them. From NuB clan to QQ clan to GhOsT and on and on. I most def await your reply haha. Of course im prob banned now from saying this but what ever, welcome to Diablo.

All depends on how the PvP plays. If the PvP blows, ill most likely skip the expansion. If I do end up picking it up it will be much later down the road when it is like $20 and im extremely bored.

There is as much to do after you clear all the content as there was in D2. If that stuff isn't what you want, move on to a new game. Making posts crying about how bored you are is just sad.
Well for starters, you didn't hit 99 in a day or a few hours tops. The MF was more apparent and fulfilling. Trading took time as well and even included some people skills, so you could in a way level up in that aspect. PvP and all the gameplay modes that brought with it. The list goes on, for every 1 thing Diablo 3 does right, Diablo 2 does 2-3 more ha.

Thats your opinion and fortunately for those of us playing D3 and having fun you are wrong. PvP in D2 consisted of assholes joining games, pvp flagging, then waypoint hopping until they found someone to stab in the back. That was content to you? At least in D3 we will be having arenas and formal PvP.

MF in D2 was apparent? Sure, after you farmed for 350 MF. But to say it isn't apparent in D3 is simply retarded and ignorant.

I hit max level in D2 in less than a week as I did in D3. Just because there was "more" levels in D2 doesn't mean it took longer, thats just your false perception.

As to trading in D2, it was hell. The AH is a much simpler means to get it done and there are still trade channels in D3 if you really want to find people to trade with.

So as to every single point you made, nostalgia does not = truth.
    Wow haha, really?

So because you got ganked in pubs meant PvP in D2 was horrible. Awesome.

For MF, I ran all sorts of different MF, from 100+ and I found plenty of good stuff with very quick runs. This made it enjoyable, I didn't have to waste 30+ mins of my life running the game to find lack luster drops. D2 had better variety on items then D3 does.

You hit 99 on D2 in a week? Well I am very impressed then. Now did you do that with Uber runs afk or did you actually grind it? Somehow I doubt you grinded 99 in a week, but again who knows. If you did congrats you beat me at something!

Trading lost all of its fun in D3. There are no people skills required, no haggling, it is like buying a soda at a retail shop. The price is the price, buy it or don't. It takes away from the experience. Now yea I can sit in the trade channel and battle everyone to get my ad seen and trade that way, but the AH is the premier way to trade and thus the channel sits on the back burner.

Happened to Asia too. I had no problem with a complete rollback back to May15th! That would be the most fair decision, but won't happen.

I hope they won't ban anyone who just used pc clock to cancel AHs ^^
Then they would have to ban 99.8% of all players!
Ha, imagine them rolling game back to day 1. So many customers would leave it would be hilarious.

thats the main problem, is that there is this INFERNO difficulty that is only unlocked at lvl 60. in d2 i got 1 lvl 99 sorc and lvl 70's for every other class, and it took so many cow runs in 1.08 lod. plus dying made you lose exp! haha so many hours spent on that game. players are always looking for 'end game' material now, but honestly its just a loot game. if you buy everything then game's over... you become a trophy to show off to friends.

ps. anyone remmber white rings and sorc sojs?
This is why PvP prevails to keep games alive. It creates a real end game beyond grinding the same crap over and over for no reason other then to raise a few digits.
