duelling seems like a bandaid to get something going.
TDM would have been just so much better than stupid duelling. I don't really get why they had to scrap TDM. I also don't like their reasoning for it.
Ontop of all that, the promised pvp "well before the end of the year" not being here.
A promised massive pvp blog, which was just a massive excuse for not being able to deliver.
And the way Jay Wilson acts and posts totally puts me off.

Similar neck but with avg damage and dex would boost the most I guess for you (tho costly)
Hellfire ring with CD/Ias
Inna's pants with 9% Ias (minor upgrade I'd guess)
Bracers with 6% crit or crit and high dex Lacunis (would also gain you movement speed)
Suggestion appreciated too:

I've read this thread yesterday after a rather bad day with legendaries and thought: "Heck lets try with more MF". Bought me a Sunkeeper with socket and critdamage for the offhand and it seems the drops increased. Tho it might just be randomPosted in: Diablo III General Discussion
Paid 4 mill for 900ish dps 190 dex, 54 CD and 41 MF. My dps stayed the same roughly and so I still blow up everything on mp0.
If you are playing a dualwield setup and you could afford a Sunkeeper with good/decent stats I'd suggest you might want to try it. Since for me at least i traded a bit of weapon dps and CD for MF and dex,

shaggy has a point there regarding LoH/Lifeleech.Posted in: Diablo III General Discussion
The concept of LoH in itself is quite decent, but Lifeleech is just not powerful enough. I already disliked it in D2 when patch 1.10(correct me if I'm wrong on the number) introduced not only reduced power of LL but also that you couldn't LL from skelletons.
Considering the fact, that lifeleech starts to get somewhat decent once you have 3-9% AND do massive damage already, I think that there is the real problem with that stat.
I know that lifeleech doesn't get a penalty on AoE unlike LoH and would be a complementary stat, so that you would get decent returns from AoE and from single target dps. But for me it hasn't worked out like that yet.
Also to note is, that the amount of Lifeleech from gear you can get is rather limited and I would really like to see that being made available to more slots, so one could even out the regen of life onto more slots.
I'm not too sure if I know all slots from which you can get LL, but afaik:
Weapon: up to 3% Lifeleech
Mighty Belt(Barb): Up to 3%
There also might be some Legendaries for other slots that have LL but I'd have to look this up.
So basically even as a barb with 9% lifeleech (3% weapon, 3% belt, 3% passive ability) to get a comparable amount of return to 1k LoH, I'd have to do already 55k'ish dps if the formula : 1000/(0.2*0.09) is correct. But while LoH scales quite well with attackspeed, Lifeleech does not. so 1k hp/s isn't really going to cut it for a melee, I'd go so far and say you would need around 2k/s to keep up your HP at a reasonable level.
Long story short: LoH and Lifeleech need to get more in line of each other, considering that the most dominant slot for either is the weapon. And by this I mean Lifeleech needs to move closer to LoH not the other way around. Either by lowering the amount of reduction you get in Inferno or by making it available on more slots. Helm/Chest/bracers would be good contenders for that.
Edit: somehow the display of this post broke, gonna have to edit it to show everything I typed

I might be wrong, but I'm fairly certain that the higher the itemlevel of an item, the higher a single stat can be.Quote from Splintrix
We know how it works in WoW, which is a simple system where stats sum up to make the ilevel . On top of that, all loot is predefined.
But i just dont see the point in using itemlevel catagories when ilevel 60 stuff can have "more" stats than a ilevel 63 item.
Try searching for a piece of pants with 79 resist all, i'm sure it is going to be item level 63 archon pants. If you filter to only search blue panties you can also check the second affix and see that it is not a second roll on all resistance (which afaik does only exist once).
61: 4 stats and low range (e.g. 1-40 of something)
62: 5 stats and medium range (e.g. 1-50 of something)
63: 6 stats and big range (e.g. 1-60 of something)
On main stats you might see a 62 item get for example a higher main stat (let's say Dex) than on a 63 item that rolled max, since there are affixes that have 2 main stats (Dex+Str).
If I'm wrong let me know, but I'd like to see a reference then

You get an unlock key when installing the Mobile Authenticator, which enables you (if you keep that key) to remove the mobile app should you crash your mobile or reset it or what ever. So no they aren't as bad as EA.Quote from mezmer2613I was using mobile authenticator with SW:TOR and after reverting my phone to factory settings (full reset) I was no longer able to either log in to SW:TOR website or the game. Upon calling Bioware support I was told that since I "lost" my original mobile authenticator, they can't attach a new one to an existing account. There was no workaround, the only option was to detach the authenticator altogether and log in the standard way. I don't know whether Blizz support have similar restrictions, but if they do, I belive it's worth investing 10 euro and pick up a physical device.
I doubt any one with a physical/mobile authenticator got their account compromised. Even tho it would be possible, but not with a security breach on blizzards end, but rather with some means to bypass entering the information (proxy on your victim for example).
Friend of mine for example got his acc compromised just an hour before he attached an authenticator (we chatted about it earlier that evening via voicecoms, so maybe he even had a "voice-logger" :D)

I was basically refering to the default "All Armor" dropdown selection, where you can not search for life on hit, because some slots don't allow it if it's a magic or rare item, while some of the uniques (e.g. those that got listed here) can have LoH. Should have said it more precisely, but I guess you get my pointPosted in: Barbarian: Bastion's Keep

You can't search for armor with LoH because that only exists on Legendaries and Set items.Posted in: Barbarian: Bastion's Keep
Rings/Amus can have LoH, but you have to explicitly select those from the interface to search for LoH with those
Edit: Weapons, rings, amus, gems and so on all stack up. That's one of the more fun ways to play a melee without a shield imo

Socketed weapons every 5 levels with the highest red gem you can afford (and regem it into those weapons each time you replace your weapon) should get you to 60 in less than 20 hours if you keep the rest of your gear decent.Posted in: Diablo III General Discussion
You should be oneshotting anything but boss/champs until hell easily
5/25/2012 6:36:10 AM
To add on Ain's post:Posted in: Monk: The Inner Sanctuary
you could go for one specific resistance and take the passive "One with Everything" which increases all your resistances to your highest one. This way you might end up with cheaper gear if you already have gear with dex/vit that have a single res and stack that one.
