We need a little more information on your team and your role in it. I'm guessing the rest of them are okay with you
not being a damage dealer. Can't see your gear so I'll comment what I can.
Snake to the Face Good if you have VERY high attack speed. If you want to apply other CC (from your gear) then Rain of Toads might be better; more ticks per second.
Paranoia Nice, especially with Last Breath Ceremonial Knife. If you don't need a slot on it it can be the weapon of choice for a support build with its attack speed, HP regen and +1 Affix of choice.
Jinx I haven't tried it but does it work on ubers? I'm thinking no. What about Spirit Walk or Horrify@Frightening Aspect?
The passives are fine but I don't think Grave Injustice will be of any use when you do ubers.

Hey I changed my skills and passives to accomodate Well of Souls and it works surprisingly well.
Might actually gear up for it. I'm guessing Mana Regen, Attack Speed and a high Crit Damage?
Also Life Steal > Life on Hit?

Posted in: Witch Doctor: The Mbwiru EikuraQuote from Meat_ShieldTheres other builds that work just fine, but they need some pretty specific gear to make them work.
I'm all up for that!
Quote from Meat_ShieldOne I really liked to do was use the Rush of Essence passive, get a knife, voodoo mask, mojo all with at least +10mana regen and use Spirit Barrage: The Spirit Is Willing as your main spammy spell so I could just snipe elites through walls while my pets blocked them at a door.
I was toying with an idea for Rain of Toads, but it might work better with Spirit Barrage because of the higher %Weapon Damage.
What if you stacked Skill Bonus affixes; you could get +56% Spirit Barrage damage from Amulet, 2x Ring and Mojo.
Need to do some work with a calculator to see if it wouldn't gimp you too much, over getting the usual INT, Crit Chance and Crit Damage.
About Last Breath... That knife frustrates me so much lol.
I wouldn't even look at any other weapon if only it rolled with +2 Random Magic Properties.
That one it rolls with would just have to be Life Steal because of the way it works with "Slain enemies rest in pieces".
You pretty much restore all your health every time an enemy dies don't you?
By the way, does "Slain enemies rest in pieces" make the passive Circle of Life not work?

1: Spirit WalkPosted in: Witch Doctor: The Mbwiru Eikura
2: Soul Harvest
3: Summon Zombie Dogs
Left Click: Splinters / Rain of Toads
Right Click: Zombie Bears / Acid Rain
My point is that my experience playing WD so far is that if I am not running some rune variation of the above, something is wrong. This isn't so much of a rant as it is trying to see what people have come up with.
I have a beef with the WD which is, compared to the Necro (I know they are not the same and maybe I shouldn't compare, but it seems appropriate) you NEED the pets. At least in my game.
But the difference is in D2 you could cast all of your skills and having some skellies was a perk to you or maybe you even focused on a Summon Necro. In D3 though you are restricted to 6 skills, pets taking up 1/3 of them. Then again even while having 4 Dogs, the Gargantuan and a follower out monsters will still jump straight to my face. That makes me think "then why the f*** am I doing this".
There are many more clever people than I am so I thought I might ask:
How do you do it? Has anyone been toying around with the skills and found a style that s not so pet dependant? The farthest I have gone is swapping out Soul Harvest for Spirit Barrage: Manitou lately and it's decent. A guilty pleasure though, like admitting I used to watch Charmed. But then I remember I am missing out on +650 INT and feel stupid again.
So do we have to go down that one cookie-cutter build or are there other ways of doing it?
What have you been up to?

Just wanted to give my thanks as I was doing some data gathering on the AH and this helped.Posted in: Theorycrafting and Analysis
Not sure if anyone pointed out this on 54 pages but;
update on the max MF
- Amulet 45
- Ring 30 (Nagelring)
- Quiver / Orb / Mojo 20
and you may add Weapon 45 (Sun Keeper)
This is relevant to section 2,7

I had the same problem when I switched to a Skorn - I couldn't sustain the damage from reflect.Posted in: Witch Doctor: The Mbwiru Eikura
That was using Zombie Bears; switching to Acid Cloud made the reflect damage a non factor.
But yeah, how do people get around this?

Very nice!Posted in: Witch Doctor: The Mbwiru Eikura
Tried it myself after watching and I got the Real of Discord portal. I am actually glad for that because all the running around works better for me as I have about 450 LoH only. The other two realms look scary.
P.S.: Magda is a nasty female dog.

Like the others said, start looking for crit chance and crit damage.Posted in: Witch Doctor: The Mbwiru Eikura
Before, I had stacked INT and I had decent weapon damage and yet my damage wouldn't go over 25k and
I felt stuck. So I invested in crit (now I have abot 20% chance and 400% damage) and the damage bumped to 55k.
If you like seeing big damage in your character screen then crit chance is what you want. I am running 4 piece Zuni
though the helm has no crit chance. If I swap it with Andariel's Visage my damage goes up 8k!
Gear suggestion: a cheap Skorn.
Can't post URLs but I got a cheap one with "undesirable" bonus attributes for 2.5m
They always come with a socket and crit damage so It shouldn't be hard to get 200%+ crit damage from the weapon alone.
