You actually *can* single out unidentified Ancient items on the ground...
The beam & color are the same, but it literally says "Ancient xx" as the name at the top. Just hold control to view the item on the ground to quickly check. It's even easier to mouse-over once picked up and in your inventory.

Sexy.
Looks like they are working together after all. The way the video is cut makes it seem like they are fighting each other, but watching it in slo-mo, they are just turning towards a third party. The most likely target would be Tyrael. -

I killed two skeletons of the same level with a total of two players in the game. The first was killed with my partner within one screen length, and the second when my partner was back in town. I got equal experience for both kills. So it seems like grouping is definitely the way to go, as you kill much quicker, with no real downsides (besides people wanting to rush forward, but that's a different topic). Semi-unfortunate, as I loved the challenge of solo-play under enhanced conditions, but group play is just as fun. Nevermind you will most likely NEED your teammates come the later acts.

If you were in a party, the experience was split between nearby group members. This ended up as only slightly more experience than solo play, but the rate at which you plowed through mobs was drastically increased in most cases, which increased your total experience gain.
However, if you roamed alone, either without a party, or just far enough away from them, you would gain vastly increased experience per monster, but killed at a slower rate. It is less effecient, but provides much more overall experience per area cleared. Additionally, I enjoy the challenge, especially in the limited content we have available in the beta.
I have been trying to test this out in Diablo 3, but I have been having trouble testing this in public games as players LOVE teleporting to each other to "help". Has anyone done real testing on this, to confirm how experience gain works in multiplayer games? Is it this same?
Also do drops work the same way, with increased rates when more people in the game? Or was that nullified since everyone has individual drops now. If it is the latter, then rolling with a party and clearing areas quickly is definitely the way to go.

Before he died, he was alive. But that doesn't mean he won't live up to his harpy-queen's expectations. She was cruel and most beautiful but even then, she totally had killer boobs that could kill Austin Powers inspite of his groovy hippie nature.
One day the strong and fierce stench woke up a fair maiden and gave her an exceptional gift that was meant to stop hunger, dolphins and Jay. Jay didn't quite bring up the beta servers in time. That had little to do with the fail he hid in the Chris Metzen's closet. Later that night
