posted a message on My monk can barely do GR57

Youre missing CHD on gloves, trifecta rings, 15 EP on boots. On a CDR note it seems fine, youre 47.5 on gear, 10% paragon and 20% boy.

And, your main problem atm is your fist[its somewhat bad actually (imafraid)]. Its 76%: Id even use a near perfect non ancient over that one. Its a HUGE bunch youre missing there. And as some already mentioned you should not use Mythic Rhythm unless you are 100% sure what youre doing.

posted a message on Fist of Az, which one?

The majority of your dmg is from palms. 97% vs 83%, I wouldnt hesitate a sec in picking the 97, it has both 130 higher max + you can get 10% rather than 6%. (in contrary to the 4% CDR difference (effectively ~2% if youre proper geared in general (50%+)). And no, I wouldnt run vit (I even play on HC), just slam 10% dmg instead of regen on that pretty fist. Regen is useless as the higher the CDR, the better uptime on epiphany, which "outmitigates" the need for spirit when spamming SSS.

posted a message on so, farm paragon for 3 months now ?

Like in all things u cant compete with people that dedicates 12h a day to something when u just dedicate 4.

Seems like u guys want to lift the same weight as a bodybuilder when u dont even go the gym.

Although the analogy is somewhat alternative - this is the root of the problem.

In the end, people mainly complain about being unable to do, what other ppl do (based on their own "preferences/expectations") - You wanna get high paragon but refrain from running with other people, let alone, play a lot? And where exactly do you apply logic in that phrase?

About gear, I've only played 1 character for ~200 hours this season, and I have tons of things to change. Npt to mention the variety of builds I can do - I'd reward a cookie to the guy who links me a character with 99% perfect gear (And based on what guidelines? Afaik we're dealing with inadequate values which can't be compared directly)

With the thread in mind, - since when has a doctorate made the definiton of a competitive game? Any game is as competitive as the community makes it. You're just looking for an excuse to slack your a** off, when you, in reality, wish to climb leaderboards. Lights up, if you wanna be the best at something, you might have to dedicate yourself 101% to it, and YES; that includes sacrifricing IRL elements, just as you do if you wish to be the best at EVERYTHING else!

For the love of god, stop jumping to shorthanded conclusions based on your own perspective. Not to mention how sad I get, when I see how easily you give up. The second you meet a challenge, the rule of thuimb is to continue the endless rant about mechanics which are "unfit" [for you], I take it? In most cases you already presenting a solution as youre shouting your problem, start relying abit on yourself - atleast instead of sobbing over the fact you arent able to compete with the top 1% - Im just wondering, have you ever been able to do that in another [insert fitting environment] without dedicating yourself 100% to it? It sure doesnt sound like a competitive game/sport/w/e.

    Quote from Veromorgo-next

Its very simple if you lag due to blizzard you lag and they lag too. Game "freezes" on both ends. Had in D3V a crash server shut down once and all was ok even i was standing in the middle of nasty packs.

Im actually not sure about this - but when you get a crash (due to a client error) it might instantly remove you from the game.

I havent had any problems with Blizzards uptime since the release of season 4. A part of hardcore is being a step ahead, if you cant handle it, then softcore would probably make you happier in the end. Atleast, for the love of god, dont spread hate when its actually not in their hands at all.

posted a message on [HC Seasonal] Pals looking for pals! ~Paragon 700

    Hi there!

The core consists of 2 friends of mine, and I, who have been playing since S4 start. We are simply looking for more people to play with. It truly sucks being unable to find that 4th guy. We do everything from 150b/h grift farm, t10 speeds, ubers - you name it. We are gonna start pushing high grifts as soon as we have everything set straight.
We have all done the 60 solo grift, lowest one is paragon 700. Were usually farming on grift 60

Feel free to hit me up in the PM or @ Netherfrost#2283.

posted a message on [Build + Video] 2.2 - AW + Meteor Shower, GR40+ group speedfarming

Considering running with Power Hungry and Conflagration, its a unique buff with a huge dpsbuff.

I play HC and run with totally different stats, but in most cases its actually worth shoving some toughness stats on gear and use force weapon rather than energy armor. It'll also give you more from reapers. If you have that + paragons +AP on 1h and OH, and you'll get ~54 AP from each health globe. It increases your effective DPS immensely as you can more or less just hold the meteor button.

posted a message on LF Crusader/Monk and DH/Wizard HC SEASON

I play a lot during this season and have several teams, so Its usually never a problem getting up a 4 man team no matter the hour of the day. I play a wiz and the guy I play most with is a barb +zdpscrus

    About us:

In solo, Ive personally done 40-48 grifts but Ive only given it a shot a handful of times.
I have a mate who holds the top 1 for 2 players and several others in the top 50 for solo grifts.
When we farm in group we go for 37-45. Occasionally we do high grits (yesterday 53-54).

Feel free to add me at Netherfrost#2283. My Flist is full but I can make spot for you.

posted a message on Group setups for greater rifts?!

When it comes to speedfarming, It usually depends on what we farm. If were doing 42-45 grifts (hardcore) we go with zdps WD + CSEP monk + Barb/DH + Me as a TR Wiz. With proper teammates we farm consistently at 1.5-3.5 mins per rift. If we have the DPS for it, we have the WD go ahead, horrify mobs, try to gather them roughly, attack mobs to make them move closer to him etc, put a BBV and then he moves on. The monk then picks up the mobs with CS and I proceed to meteor the collected group down. If we have a Barb he usually runs alongside the WD or even further ahead, if its a DH he swaps between being with the WD and me+monk depending on the mob group size, rift, map, mobs etc.

Alternatively we go for 38-40 which has barb/dh+barb+dh/wiz+wiz usually. A CSEP monk is always openly accepted as he brings a lot more solo dmg than the other DPS' do, ie. hes capable of farming on his own (if we spread out)

When it comes to pushing limits (grift 48-60) its a whole other discussion.

posted a message on More Arcane Dust

Maybe you're viewing this from the wrong angle? Perhaps they should nerf the veiled crystal gain?
The general consensus in this thread is that people want to be able to craft near "unlimited" (People with 25k crystals, but few of the other materials,if you had an equal amount of dust you could craft ~200 legs np), crafting items should still be a thing you have to work for IMO(I also strongly believe in farming the rare crafting materials from specific bosses, it gave you othet things to farm, besides doing the usual T6 & Grift grind). However, the inbalance between the different materials is indeed a thing and has to be adressed. Not the mention the large difference between slots, enchanting 1 slot costs 1 arcane dust, whilst the other cost 16, crafting reaper's cost 76 dust, while others 5-20.. Logical? I doubt it..

posted a message on whats ur best group build ? 55+

I sat with a lot similar thoughts last night. What the general idea is, is that it varies depending on group setup, what gear you have available and so on. The ideal setup for the wizard is the meta with zdps crus + wd and a DH. The higher the grift, the more reliant your build is ought to be on hydra. I'm yet a wiz cadet compared to monk atleast, so dont take my word for granted.

I dont have an ancient SS, but my current alternative is an aether walker. I'm thinking about crafting a proper devastator, also have a pretty decent non ancient SS, so I gotta figure out what weapon to use.

This is the specc I used last night: http://us.battle.net/d3/en/calculator/wizard#UQOiSP!hZRe!YcYcZb You would probably prefer blizzard if you hace a proper setup and playstyle.
As for gems, I went with Gizzard + Bott + Botp, botp is a fair choice if your group has the speed/luck to keep the buff up all the time. I went with my cold lacuni prowlers aswell. Taeguk is prolly prefered in the controlled scenario. Iceblink, zeis are noteworthy gems aswell. I'm wondering if enforcer (since it works for DH, but dunno about hydra?) is noteworthy if its high enough.

We managed to complete a 53 with terrible mobs and map, 13:00 or so, even though we didnt have any zdps crus, oh ye, I play hardcore only.
Arcane Dynamo (for the hydra), Cold blooded, Glass cannon are all good passives.

Looking forward to additional comments on the matter.
