If somebody decides to use this (darkd3), but doesn't like the default effect - you can edit the sharpness/color strength in the "darkD3_Settings.h" file by typing different numbers.
Hope this helps someone cause this filter is awesome.
As for the bans let's analyze what Jay Wilson said:
"TOS against mods is so we can ban cheaters. I agree DarkD3 is not a cheat...yet. As long as it is not a cheat, no ban is likely."
- "TOS against mods is so we can ban cheaters." - this is not a cheat.
- "I agree DarkD3 is not a cheat" - Jay agrees.
- "...yet" - means that if the creator of this (or someone else) releases new version, and that version has other (bad) uses (which the current one doesn't have), then It will start to be considered a cheat (the new version, not the one that you can download now).

This one is so fun. I had the same idea, but my implementation is different.Posted in: Barbarian: Bastion's Keep
You don't need 2 attacking fury spenders since you can't use them both at the same time - it's loss of a skill slot. Just seismic slam is the best for this build.
Sprint and battle rage naturally come into this build for obvious reasons. Also I figured you would not need 5 seconds sprint, because you can always just start an other one, and "run like the wind" works really good - monsters will be chasing you all the time, so let them take damage while doing it.
War cry so you don't insta-die if something hits you.
Ground stomp for when monsters catch up to you (and that will happen).
Overpower for when monsters catch up to you and ground stomp is not an option and you are about to die.
Also you should be picking health globes (or using overpower) just a little so you can stay near 20% health, not 1%
And the passives are obviuos.
I don't feel like ignore pain works well with this build. Also It's a bad skill all around because of the 30 sec cooldown.
Weapon throw is pvp only skill.
You can try to substitute one of the skills with call of the ancients or wrath of berserker, but I don't think it's a good idea, they are unreliable cause of the big cooldown.

People bring valid points. I'm not concerned any more about this topic.Posted in: Diablo III General Discussion
But I disagree with the player skill part. I don't see how killing mobs is a very hard thing to learn. You just need to know a very basic set of things, like not being surrounded for example.

Well, this is not Starcraft, once you have what you need (proper build & proper items) it will be fairly easy to just click and click and click.Posted in: Diablo III General Discussion
And I am not crying, so no "special unique snowflake" flame please. I will enjoy the game as much as I would if there wasn't any such skill issue.

I don't think it's about being the only one that will come up with that awesome build, but rather being in the let's say 10% of people with awesome builds as opposed to say 90% of them.Posted in: Diablo III General Discussion

I guess it's not a big deal but still it bothers me. And yea, it's my ego can't help it.Posted in: Diablo III General Discussion

I don't know if people have really noticed this, or if it has been discussed, but I don't think there is a way for you to hide your build order from being copied. Don't you see this as a big problem? What if for example most of the people aren't able to complete inferno, but there is this one guy, who has this awesome build, and is stomping mobs in inferno, what stops people who doesn't understand the game from just stealing builds and being in par with him?Posted in: Diablo III General Discussion
Or maybe my build isn't that awesome, but I don't want it being copied for whatever reason. Maybe I just wanna make sure I'm doing things in unique way or something.
Currently the builds are soo transparent, not just due to the fact that they are displayed for everyone to see in game, but all the skills and runes have different visuals, and everyone can see what rune you are using. Plus this is just a fast way for cookie cutter builds to be polished and become popular.
This bothers me, what do you think?

I will complete the whole game under 2 weeks, solo. If I have time to play all day that is. This is based on my experience with D2. I hardly doubt it'll be as hard as some other games I've played.Posted in: Diablo III General Discussion

People come on.. you WILL get PvP, just not immediately. Makes no difference... Your frustration is illogical.Posted in: News & Announcements
