What you are referring to is no new abilities on bosses (as in Skeleton King etc)
The rares/champions have more affixes in later difficulties

More build variety would be nice. I dont enjoy the build on my monk, but its the only one i can use. Dont want to switch class either, seing how much mf gear i got for my monk.
Upping the base movement speed on all classes by 25% would be nice as well. Its very slow now

the sad thing is that there were NO good real rpgs this year, when both d3 and tl2 are nominated, both being hacknslash with really no ties to rpg

However, Im sure the speed wont be a problem at all, once your gear gets good.
My build is based on lifesteal, and as long as i can keep 4-5 mobs bleeding, I can survive very good. One on one however, im weak without my WotB
The funfactor is great though. BARB SMASH!

I dont use the AH, so thats why im dressed like I am. Self found is more fun imo

Almost all the items on my 3 lvl 60s are self found. The axe on my barb, and the amulet and chest on my monk might be the best ones.
Found a grand total of 3 set items and 5 legendaries

Agree on this one as well. Torchlight 2 got a map-vendor after you beat the game. You can buy a map and use it to open a portal to a random dungeon with a boss at the end. The dungeons have random "stats" to them, either boosting you or the monsters in some way. Example you can get x% more gold from drops, monsters do 25% more ice damage or monsters have x% better change to drop magic items. I like that system.

Sooooo much this. I would like a thorn build to be viable, like ye olde thorn paladin in d2 was.
Maybe thats in the works for the expansion. A shield centered class with thorns as a valid form of damage.
