MU HA HA HA preorders are mostly out of stock! Thank goodness i did so MONTHS ahead! NOW TO SELL IT for 193248$$$ on ebay!!! (just kidding, how can one NOT get d3 CE?! ITS FUCKIN D3 MAN!!!! D3!!!!!! BEEN WAITING LIKE 10 YEARS)
It becomes item dependant for melee, i do agree.. however, why not swap to multiplayer to get more MF% from a group, to make up for your lack of, and also, groups
You have a point, but still I'd like to depen more on my decisions on where to farm. Maybe when I play with my friends, things will go well... Dunno, we have to see the game first and get the feel of how hard will the other difficulties be, and if more players will bring us more loot... Also you have to think about the MF... Damn I'm excited!
Anyone who have played D2 knows that the first char is for finding loot. Since Barb and Monk will be in the front lines, they will be more Items dependant than the others, who can move around and use ranged attacks/spells.
My first char will probalby be Wizard, which I will use to find items for my second and favourite one - Barb. When I have farmed them relatively well for Inferno, the choice for further grinding will be made.
BTW, I personally dislike the looks of the WD and the playstile. He/she will probably be my last char...
If there was an RMAH in HC mode, the danger of bot farming will be the same if there isn't one! The real problem is that when the player dies, items bought with real money will disappear from the game. This is what blizzard prevents from happening.
First I want to say that i didnt expect the difference of the quality of the users here and in the official Blizzard forum to be so huge! Even dough there is always someone who acts like a hater, you are really able to think and make good arguments... I've had to move here long ago...
Now on the point... I'm sorry that I couldn't make pool with 3-4 options, so we could be clear where are we all at. But as I can tell, the situation is 50-50. We like the idea of communicating in some more direct/visual way, but we are scared of the game becomming WOW like.
On the point dough... Will inferno be hard? We can ask "will Hell be hard", ofcourse for 45-50 level Champ Hell will be hard... In D2, hell was damn hard the first time beating it, PLAYING WITHOUT HELP! All depends on the items you have. First youll grind in Nightmare in order to clear Hell. Then youll grind in Hell, in order to be able to grind in Inferno.
Why are all scared of the dificulty levels!? It will be soo much fun, they have many testers who are gamers like us, and they want the same thing. D3 will be amazing... Just have more patience!
this whole tavern idea reminds me of org in wow, everyone just standing around,
You have a point. But I still think that if the mode allows as Baconweave said - 8-12 players, it will be taken up with enthusiasm. I know this is not a MMO, but this does not mean that at some extend the MMO features can't be usefull and fun.
It seems Blizz is scared from evolving, they don't like taking risks... But still, there will be 2 expansions... We shall see...
Yep, I'm sure so many interesting things could be created around such a "game mode". But possibly it will interfere with some of the game mechanics which they cherish so much. Especially the Auction House. They would love it to be the primary trading grounds, or at least I think so.
Everyone knows, that if you want to make a DPS char you will need MF char first for grinding. Each of us will try to find the ballance between the quick PvE and most MF, no one will go full DPS except on PvP. In this game loot is all, you get better loot with more MF... MF in this game is all... One of you said it in the beginning, if this is what we know about the game, things will go as follows:
1: Hi.
2: Hi.
1: MF?
2: 50
Player 1 has left the game...
The idea is pretty nice, not so innovative but cool. But you forget one thing, they want us to be able to swap skills and be able to choose every other build. And with this scaling of something which affects your power, some builds become obsolete. So if such change is made, it's the same as bringing back the old skill tree point system.
