You can't take a picture that small and blow it up without it looking awful.

I look basically the same as 7 years ago. I guess that's a good thing? Maybe it's bad? I dunno. Who cares.Posted in: Off-Topic

Being a veteran isn't that great. We had an amazing community built around the idea of this game which failed to live up to many of our expectations and thus many of us left. In hindsight, we probably spent so much time fantasizing about what D3could/should have been that no version could ever have lived up to our expectations.Quote from Siaynoq
Yeah this site used to have a really great community. I find things here now, however, to be a reflection of Diablo 3 itself: sad. I just played D3 recently for the first time in months and couldn't have been more bored. And doing that made me wanna check in to this place again but all the people I remember are mostly gone. No one really visits the off-topic or general discussions anymore either it seems.Mostly it's all just threads about character builds, how much DPS or GF players can get. Yeah this place, like the D3 game is a sad affair. You wanna see a kickass community for a game that's going to be something truly amazing, check out Star Citizen. Seriously.Quote from Elendiro
I'm a bit sad I wasn't around back in the day would be awesome to be a diablofans veteran
That said, we had some good times. I suppose it's a mixed bag, really.

I'd be..... probably a flamingo. They get to spend lots of time in the water in warm tropical places. They love seafood. Get to fly. They are graceful. Life's just an awesome arial beach party when you're a flamingo.
Flamingos also smell terrible. Have you ever been near a flock of flamingos? I couldn't stand it.
I'd probably want to be a dinosaur of some kind.

A lot of the images are broken. Still, I've always enjoyed internet-related humour (as I dabble in web design). Still funny.Posted in: General Discussion

From the way you write, I'm surprised to hear you're not under 17. You're... 30? Really? Interesting.Posted in: Off-Topic
Speaking as a former forum moderator (actually, Admin - on this forum, no less) I can honestly say that there is a lot of pressure on us to be consistent in our interpretation and implementation of the rules. Basically what I'm saying is, if they have to punish other less "real" fans for their inappropriate content, they have to punish you - the "real" fan - equally. It's only fair.
The fact that you're now whining about your loss of privileges (and I guess your loss of face) makes you come off like a spoiled child who's had his favourite toy taken away because you were acting up to mom and dad and I find that hard to pity.
EDIT: To explain why I feel comfortable judging you on your behaviour and the way you write...
I am not an English major, per se, though I do excel in English and English Literature - but I am younger than you and can type far better. It's as simple as not substituting "u" for "you" and capitalizing at the beginning of my sentences. I feel like I can judge because I'm doing it correctly and you're not. Think of yourself as a criminal against the English language and me as a member of your jury.
Also, I used to be a forum admin here and other places (along with modding other places). Life has gotten in the way, but I do feel like I have the skills and know-how, so that point is lost on me too.
