Hallo fellow Hardcorian's!
I am just wondering if there is people out there that feel the same way i do. I am a noob HC barbarian, just starting to get some gear and now they add monster levels so i can get even better loot! Thats great but how can i risk it? This is my first HC character and im pretty sure i will do something unmentionable if i die, therefore i won't take any huge risks. But with this new system is making me feel very offput on playing Hardcore mode. I love the idea of it, but i know it will only lead to headaches for me because i can't risk playing in the most effective way, even though i want to! Back when i was playing normal this would've been perfect, but now im hooked on hardcore and this sounds like beeing forced to play with a handicap for me!
Am i the only one feeling this way?
Suggestion: Leave this option out of Hardcore, do anyone else agree?
Wasn't expecting those to be the top killing mobs either, i was expecting those suiciders from act 3, they killed my friend and allmost me!
I think its because people expect that, but you dont expect thosse walking corpses to be any threat - at all.
I Agree with this, but not entirely. There are some insanely random spawns of suiciders around, like i mentioned with my mate. We were just strolling through hell Act 2, found a shipwreck "on the road to alcarnus" and clicked on a dude. Black rock ledger page pops up and takes our attention, second later 5-6 suiciders blast my mate. I didn't even get to react. He goes down even though he pops diamond skin! He had over 30k hp. That was an insanely unpredictable and random way to die!
By the way, where can you check what your character died from?
Just crushed the Butcher's nuts yesterday, was wondering how you guys think i will do in act 2. Can i down Maghda and survive the horrible stings of the desert bee's, still don't feel prepared for Belial(Safety first!)!
Also open to suggestions on how to improve my gear, dinged 2 days ago so have been spending every hard earned gold to get up my resists. They feel pretty good now, atleast for act 1 farm, having no problems there. Planning on saving up to a Hallowed defender+Hallowed axe.
Oh, and Paragon lvl 3. Just love how fun it is to farm paragon lvls!
Me and my Wizard friend are playing Hardcore coop, never solo. I need suggestions for a good co-op build(s). We are now lvl 54 and Hell has taken its toll on our combined DPS. I only have a few preferences for my build:
1. No Frenzy(especially no "Sidearm"). I am so f***ing tired of Frenzy from playing 1.03, but since were now playing HC i have not been able to sacrifice it, even after 1.04. A build without Frenzy that's equal or surpasses the use of Frenzy is whats most important for me.
2. I love SnB and 2H, but since this is HC i guess 2H is out of the question untill i got a ton of resists.
3. I love the feel of double tornado/WW builds, tested this out on my normal barb, i would really love a way to make this spec viable in co-op by either manipulating my barbs build or my mates Wizard build.
4. My favourite ability in Diablo 3 ever is Ancient spear, working in this ability in my spec and still keeping it viable is VERY COOL. Again, can't sacrifice any abilities to grab this in my knowledge but please try! HC is dangerous!
I think working out even one of my preferences is a challenge, I've been trying but to no avail. I'm hoping for some super genious suggestion that will make my day/week/month!
Lvling with my mate again but happened to outlevel him a bit, was wondering at what gap the xp nerf hits in. I believe its 10 lvls apart from one another but im not sure, anyone who can confirm?
I spent 900k on the AH yesterday and didnt get anywhere close to the gear you got, and yes i took my time. I bet you are on US because the prices i saw seems alot higher than the ones in your vid.. A bit unfair
This is my dream Barbarian, i have no idea if it will actually work out...
BUT, anyway, it is going to be an awesome "Mighty Weapons" build focusing on slow and heavy attacks not fast weak ones wich is lame. My goal is to try and kill as many mobs as i can in one whirlwind! Wish me luck ^^
