i prefer to interchange MF gear i am clearing and surviving at a level i like; not before. Here is why:
1) Clearing speed and having FUN trumps everything. If you arent having fun you arent going to enjoy playing. Grinding slowly through trash isnt going to keep you enjoying the game. Killing shit fast is fun.
2) paragon levels + 5 stack bonus its not shabby MF in its own right. Clearing speed more than makes up for gimped MF gear. You watch some of the videos and youll see what im talking about. Its absurd how fast some these characters clear and I assure you they find more stuff than you do, and make more gold than you do. Killing speed is a huge factor when MFing and collecting gold, as well added bonus of lvling paragon faster too.
in short DPS + survivability first and MF last. Dont think about substituting MF gear until you clear and survive at a level you find desriable and fun.
do WD pets scale with crit gear and bonus damage crit gear?
also does weapon speed matter with regards to pet damage or is it just based off of the damage number in the character screen?
Wraithful Protector still useless. The standard attack of garg does 100% damage and wraithful protector does 110% with a short life.
Humonganoid seems to be the highest DPS option. 130% weapon AOE damage every swing. It most likely will out damage Wrestless Giant in the long run. (cept for some boss fights)
the way i see it...
1) Humonganoid = best for mobbin (even vs elites and rares its nice vs the surrounding trash)
2) restless giant = best for bosses
can you also please test gargantuan with big stinker rune to see if he can stay alive? Im interested to see how he does with your gear and passives buffing him (perhaps sub out grasp of the dead for garg w/big stinker)
if he still dies fast with your current gear can you please sub vision quest with fierce loyalty to see if he can stay alive better with all 3 passives + tons of armor + regen etc...
been reading up and these sources clearly state that attack speed does indeed increase pet damage. It does not actually increase pet attack speed. However, it does increase pet damage.

Damage is more important then DPS in this build. Need to make most out of sacrifice pluss you need really burst damage in order to keep your pets alive and tanking stuff for you. INT and +dmg > ias even if the DPS entry shows otherwise
i believe this to be incorrect. Im pretty attack speed increases pet damage (however not their actual attack rate). Can someone else confirm?
at what point is it better to go for a lower dps weapon with much better stats? consider like a 1600 dps weapon with no stats vs 1400 dps weapon with sick stats.
