You've tested this Ras?Posted in: Wizard: The Ancient Repositories

Ok, so my next question is, does your weapon's elemental damage count towards the Tal's set as well?Posted in: Wizard: The Ancient Repositories
I know it does for elemental exposure, but does it effect the Tals set bonus as well?
If I have a weapon with lightning damage, and I cast Arcane Torrent, will I get both an Arcane and Lightning meteor?

Badass, thanks Jae.Posted in: Wizard: The Ancient Repositories
Working on an elemental exposure build built around the tals set now.
Not that I have any of the gear to play with, but I like theory crafting.

I'm curious if passive spells, like Armors or Familiar can proc the meteor from the new tal's 4 peice bonus?Posted in: Wizard: The Ancient Repositories
Anyone have it that could test this out?
I've only found 1 peice so far in beta.

While the OP obviously didn't explain his position. I actually do agree with him.Posted in: Diablo III General Discussion
There is absolutely no end game content. Other than chasing that upgrade or peice of loot, which while yes, I realize that is the basis of the diablo series, it leaves little in the way to keep people interested.
Now, don't get me wrong. I plan on playing RoS, because I play Hardcore, and that thrill is enough to keep me interested for a couple months at least I would imagine.
However, having played the beta quite extensively now, the OP is absolutely correct. Farming rift keys is boring as hell, rifts are somewhat entertaining, as the bosses are kind of unique, but the rewards are a bit underwhelming.
So you have bounties which are boring to get rift keys, Then rifts which are moderately entertaining, but not very rewarding.
Where is the content? They really needed to add something else to entice players to do more than be bored to death running the same loop of get key, kill rift guardian for a chance at a legendary.

I guess I will have to re-evaluate my passive choice for that slot. Blur is probably a good alternative for added damage reduction against any damage.Posted in: Wizard: The Ancient Repositories

I love the mirror image builds for thier crowd control aspects. Being a hardcore player, this is paramount to our survival.Posted in: Wizard: The Ancient Repositories
I'm going to try and play around with a lightning mirror image build. I'm curious if the stun effect from paralysis would carry over to the mirrors lightning skills as well?
*EDIT* Well I just tested in out on beta, and it seems as though the mirrors do not get the use of the paralysis passive. Too bad, that woulda been OP

Yes, I was talking about beta. I will post some of the sources I'm finding at level 70 for reference.Posted in: Wizard: The Ancient Repositories
As far as Torment goes, well, I'm still playing on normal. As I just haven't aquired enough gear to ramp it up at all. (Just hit 70).
I guess I will come to discover that dominance isn't all it's cracked up to be? I can understand why, if you aren't killing trash quickly, then you have no shields...

Something else I was hoping to discuss is power sources. The offhands I have seen in ROS are just completely lacking in average damage.Posted in: Wizard: The Ancient Repositories
I have yet to see a source I would replace even a mediocre source from vanilla with. Oculus, Chantodo, Triumvirate, and Tals with a decent damage roll, outweigh every source I've seen so far in beta. What is the deal with that?
