Bad Medicine is bad either way ))) Jungle Fortitude is much better. Well, it can help team in coop but there're better passives for that in any case.

No, it isnt and no, there isnt. First its the only one that helps your team, excluding final gift abuse. Second it reduces damage more than jungle passive and if you arent dealing poison damage once every 3 secs you are probably doing something wrong (discounting fire only builds of course).

I agree with Findulidas. There are enough attacks to easily keep BM up, but that is based on your build too. I run with a bears build so it's not that hard to keep poison damage up at all for me, especially against ubers.

I'm using BM against uber bosses in co-op MP7+ so it's beneficial to everyone and easily outweighing JF in that particular situation.

As for my original question, I had a little time to test it and it doesn't seem that BM is proc'ed by non-poison attacks (ex: dire bats) as a couple of people stated. Wishing I'm wrong though, but yeah.

Thanks guys. Recently got the zuni boots and haven't been able to test it or even try MP yet.

It be would be ridiculous if every attack proc BM though... They might as well just say adds x% damage. Since what's the point of elemental damage then, if it really has no secondary effect other than a visual effect?

    Hello,

If an item adds x% to poison damage, would all attacks be considered poison and proc BM? Any input would appreciated.

I'm specifically using Zuni Trails with 8% to poison damage and debating if I should use BM or jungle fortitude in higher MP. I'm leaning towards BM, especially if all attacks proc it due to the x% to poison damage.

Edit: I'm also using a skorn so there aren't any other elemental damage from my weap.

    Thanks,

Thanks for the link, I was looking for some info 2days ago but couldn't find any source, this will help.

Yeah, it definitely helped me as I was "too lazy" to do testing myself and ended up using the VQ build. But I might mix up a summon build with my VQ build as I have a good idea on how to make them work so I can solo more effectively if I'm not co-oping.

The thorn passive with stacking life regen/on hit/steal is something I'm considering too since they share those with you. Using garg with stinker to heal you and themselves or dogs that set enemies on fire too (maybe rabid could be useful if possibly combining with bad medicine to get as much synergy as possible). Got a lot of thinking and testing to do now to see what build or builds will suit me best as I do tend to switch builds up depending on the situation.

    Hey,

For all the summoning WDs out there, I was reading this and thought it would benefit readers on this forum as I didn't seem to notice any testing topics done here with "conclusive" info/results. The thread has a lot of useful info in there so I wanted to share this testing with everyone here since my main is also a WD.

Note: This is not my research so all the credit goes to the original OP and those who did testing as well.

posted a message on Open Beta changed my perception and view on classes.
Beta definitely changed my view. Although i been around for a few patches, each patch slight changed my view as well with skills being moved around and changes with the skills, like a change in dmg%.

    Pre-Beta:

    1. Wizard by far
    2. DH
    3. WD
    4. Barb
    5. Monk

    Now:

    1. WD by far
    2. Monk - Didn't expect his style to be a lot of fun, maybe cause it's somewhat a new style?
    3. Wizard - If I didn't play the wiz in prior patches, he would be 5 right now. He just feels under power now in this current patch compare to the other chars, but since I experienced some of his other skills, I'm keeping him close to the top. I'm still debating between and the monk for 2 as it's pretty close.
    4. Barb - Really close to Monk and Wiz due to the feel of the his power when you're just clearing through mobs.
    5. DH - Not what I expected, but I would still def play him later on.

posted a message on How long do you think it will take you to finish Inferno ?
I voted more than 3 months for me personally as I'll be limited on play time over the course of the summer. I can see the dedicated players beating in inferno in a month probably.

Edit - I actually hope it's as hard as it sounds and surprises us all to the point where it'll take even the best of the best a few months to beat.

I think the majority of you guys are overlooking some valuable concepts. Once again, everyone likes to focus on DAMAGE DAMAGE DAMAGE!?
This game has a lot more important concepts to focus around than that. I for one thought that this skill looked right how I imagined it would be. I mean... that's how the D2 fetish army appeared isn't it? Furthermore, when you add runes you'll receive the other more annoying fire fetish and blow dart boy as well.
But besides the appearance of the skill, remember the enemies are actually targeting them so that makes a HUGE impact on the current battle you will be experiencing. The WD can pretty much sit safely and cast other skills while this skill lasts 20 seconds which is quite a while if you play in game. That equals more survive-ability, mobility, mana regeneration, cooldown resets, and a list of less obvious advantages im sure.
There are a number of passives that will help make a pet-based build really effective.

This skill is one that falls under special tactics, not "omg looks lame no damage! WHAAH!"

I will be using this skill in my blood golem build as planned

I am happy for you. On the other hand, i don't like it because it his a hard investment for what it provides. Could be effective if you encounter elites once every 120 seconds...

So zombie dogs isn't a hard investment? That seems like it will be "casted" a lot less than every 120 seconds if you ask me. Even if you're correct about that, think about it: There are 6 skills you can have at one time! Not all your skills should be or will be, spammable high dps type skills. If they are than your build won't survive long or have many variables for different circumstances..

Like I said, im totally comfortable with this skill. Its something im looking forward to using

I am not gonna use dogs and i won't use fetish either. The only summon i am seriously considering is garg.

Fetish was kind of a let down (not all that much) based on that vid, but I still plan on using it in my build to test out before making my final decision on it. It does what I pretty much expected, but the number of fetish was quite lower. I was personally thinking at least 8 non runed due to it's enormous CD.

Garg was pretty much an automatic skill in my build too so hopefully it's not that bad of a let down either.

I'm not sure if "Loyalty" works for my zombies as well as for myself and the Templar. That is one thing I'm unsure of. I know it says you and the Templar, but I when I got it I noticed my dogs life never really dropping. Mayhap it's because they got stronger -- I don't know for sure.

I'm actually wondering this myself and I'm looking to create a similar build to yours. So would anyone know if zombies are considered targetables and/or would benefit from the Fierce Loyalty passive?

    Thanks,

Yeah seriously. I'm really curious about this myself.

Ah targetable... forgot about that type of classification I wanted to make sure because that would be completely OP if non targetables received the benefits too.

I like big bad voodoo then. Especially if multiple WDs on the same team while have that skill and cast them one after the other with their summons out and perhaps with two other chars focused on dps.

    Thanks for the reply.

posted a message on Big Bad Voodoo and Fierce Loyalty Question
    Hi,

I have a couple of questions on these two skills so please feel free to share your thoughts/answers.

Big Bad Voodoo - My question here is that the skill states all allies in the area will have have their abilities increased. Does this include summons as well as yourself? Since it basically seems to state the allies of the fetish based on the wording, I would assume that the allies of the fetish are you, your own summons, and your follower or co-op team members. Also, if it's a co-op and there's another WD, do you think it will buff their summons as well, if any?

Fierce loyalty - It states all pets will receive the benefits. So my question is, just to be "certain" or "reassured," does this include the every single type of summons from any summon type skill, such as spiders, bats, locust swarm, dogs, zombies, and fetish army for example? Or it limited to certain pets? As I'm aware though, there aren't any categories to determine pets, so every summon is a pet?

    Thanks,

I have joined 3 public games and every game had all 3 waypoints available. So that is the quickest way you can get.

Join public game, Check WPs, leave game, Resume single player game and you have those all for yourself. Or with your friends... :)

It's that common now? I had to go back to work before servers were back up so didn't realize that. I'll try when I'm home in a few hours. How's everyone enjoying it so far?
