If it worth to come back? Back to Diablo? The thing about Diablo III aswell as Diablo II is theres no coming back, you are always there and can play whenever you want to compared to games like World of Warcraft since theres is no monthly payment cost or big commitment to guild etc.
the question you are asking is a question which is all over MMO games and shouldn't be necessary since Diablo (all of them) is made as an on/off game. You will at some point grow tried and stop playing for a while, then come back again later and so on..
If your question was more concerning how the new changes are to the game, you can just open the game try out the new stuff and make your own decision if you like the new stuff or not, its a part of the game. If you don't want to, well either diablo was a bad purchase or you just have to wait abit longer before playing the game again
