posted a message on A possible hint for why we might get D4 and why it may be a reboot

I would love to see something similar to dark souls in the diablo universe. Make it even more about exploring and great boss fights and less about slaying hordes of demons. I feel like this universe deserves to be more than an arpg, although I do like point to click gameplay as well. And for the die-hard diablo fans create something like d2 with modern graphics and the responsiveness of d3.

We're getting to the point where power creep is so massive during the same season now. LOL

sooo, GR 350 by the end of the year?

This patch is for the next season. They will not change anything during a live season to keep the leaderboards clean.

posted a message on Pet Unique Aura ability

Pets are meant to be cosmetic rewards to show of achievements. They already collect gold for your character.

Why does everything have to have a benefit for the player? And if so, what's next? Dyes giving a bonus to your stats or even special abilities if you stack one color? Wings allowing you to jump over small obstacles?

Restarting the game should be enough.

Yeah, fire multishot DH works well. Managed it with a non-ancient yang's recurve and about level 40 gems on HC.

It is about ethics, Blizzard merger with Activision will have them performing far more ethically than they ever have in the past.

They want to set a standard that cheating is not acceptable, and it starts soon, very soon.

Or neither of you understand how long it takes to clear and change the business model of a multi billion dollar organization. Which is fully understandable, the core of business seems easy to some, but clearly it is more complex than most understand.
Well, there is the small fact that part of the merger was that Blizzard as a developer stays independent (whence the name Activision Blizzard). Otherwise the monetarization model of a game like Diablo would be drastically different. Also, just as food for thought, Blizzard's stance towards botting is (or at least was) one of the most unforgiving in the industry. If they are not banning botters this might either be due to insufficient data on their end to proof the use of bots (which should have changed with the warden update) or their view on botting changed. And to be frank, I doubt that is the case.
IMO it would be better in the long run if Blizzard nuked the player base by perma-banning every botter than to give soft warnings to their players. They already made money by selling the game licenses, so why should they care if they loose half to three quarters of the players? It would certainly improve their image.

posted a message on How does cc/dr works in GRs ?

Pulling mobs is considered a knockback effect. Knockback comprises all effects that cause a monster to change its position. This is also the reason why Strongarm's on support monks were used last season.

posted a message on Cannot activate 1-4 key skills when right clicking Furious Charge - please help test (details inside).

This is probably due to the animation of furious charge not having finished. You can cancel the animation by issuing a move command. Either left click on nothing or using the force move key. This way to cancel the animation will be removed with the next season.

posted a message on Genocide achievement bugged?

You need to have all six in your inventory/stash at the same time. Then go into a rift and level up any gem. This will cause the game to check for achievement criteria regarding the gems.

Should be available until the next expansion at least. It is a regular achievement. It might be adjusted to contain any new set they might add.

You still can make it a level 1 set with the cube. So it is fine. It will not see any use in the endgame, but most crafted sets don't and I don't think that is an issue.

posted a message on Conqueror for stash space? Too hard for casuals

    Quote from The Zephgo-next

    Quote from Darialsgo-next

    Hello there,

I made a thread about the difficulty of acquiring stash space starting from patch 2.4. I am a casual player, I'm sure many of you are too. I simply don't want to stress and find time to play a season, only for stash space. It will be much harder to get than the new pet.

If you think stash space should be easier to obtain, then go to the link below and support me. Thank you.

    http://us.battle.net/d3/en/forum/topic/19974497763?page=1#0

edit: I bolded a few words for those that don't understand that I do play the game. But it's the season that makes me annoyed. Stash should be free or cost gold, and not something else like playing seasons that you don't want to play.

First of all, it's not that hard. You have 3 months to get there. If you can't do it in 3 months because you 'don't have time to play a season', then you don't have enough gear to fill up your stash anyway, and therefore don't need the extra space.

If you do play none season you won't have a "time cap" and you probably hoard more items then an average seasonal player does during a season. As a none season with few hours to put into the game you hoard it over an extended period. You'll still need the stash space but you won't have time to restart in a new season.

This reward effect your game play experience. It isn't something cosmetic which can be ignored with a bit of willpower. It should definitely not be bound to a season. I keep repeating my self, I know. Make it an achievement everyone can do and then add a new one every season. If you just started three seasons in, you've three stash tabs to unlock by doing three achievements. They can still be challenging by involving things which can't be out geared. Like avoiding stuff.

This makes no sense. Over the long term all seasonal items transfer to non season, and you hoard just as much, if not more because you have more space in seasons.
Or you just don't care for the stuff that gets send to non-season because you only play on season. And having to keep multiple sets around as a hardcore player really fills up that stash, especially if you play more than one class.

posted a message on [Ideas] Patch 2.4 and 2.5 suggestions

Having to level gems would be fine, if it wasn't so tedious. I would like to see a chance for multiple upgrades if the grift level is much higher than the gem level. Maybe something like an extra 10% per grift level that is over 100% upgrade chance.

E.g. a level 0 gem will upgrade once at grift level 10, twice at 20 (200%), 3 times at 30 (300%) and so on. This would allow us to catch up gems faster in higher grifts.

    Quote from Shapookyago-next

The only thing that's really messed up in D3 is the balance. So why should they fix the balance first and then bring an expansion that messes up all the balance again?

Other stuff like lags have nothing to do with the content team. And afaik gamebreaking bugs are also not present.

D3 RoS is a complete failure, botting, macros and GR spam. An expansion is needed to rework the franchise to its former glory and prestige

You do realize that the former glory of Diablo is boss runs to level and get gear? This also includes a very large number of bots. Does not sound to different compared to GR runs to me.
