BARBARIAN build:

Mainly PvE build, multiple enemy attack for low level.
As character grows up, crowd control skill take turns, attack more enemies at once.

Primary:
Skill: Cleave (lvl 3)
Basic attack skill to build up fury, good for attacking multiple enemies.
Rune: Reaping Swing (lvl 17)
As level increase, more fury gained is always better

Secondary:
Skill: Rend (lvl 5)
Mob attack skill, attack all nearby enemy
Rune: Lacerate (lvl 33)
Wished for knockback here, but i guess "90% auto attack" will do

Defensive:
Skill: Ground Stomp (lvl 8)
Mob control skill, stun nearby enemies.
Rune: Avalanche (lvl 47)
Finally, knockback for crowd control, though it comes at a very late level

Tactics:
Skill: Furious Charge (lvl 21)
Attack multiple enemies in path.
Rune: Stamina (lvl 44)
Generate fury while charging? Why not

Might:
Skill: Whirlwind (lvl 26)
Need to explain? the best barbarian skill, whirlwind back and forth
Rune: Eye of the Storm (lvl 54)
Later in the high level, refunded 1 fury for each enemy hit

Rage:
Skill: Ancient Spear (lvl 28)
mainly for boss or single strong enemy, pull an enemy near.
Rune: Grappling Hook (lvl 34)
pull up to 3 enemies.

Passive:
Nerves of Steel (lvl 12) - more armor the better
Weapon Master (lvl 13) - Ultimate barbarian skill, simply must have
Brawler (lvl 25) - more enemy, more damage

Hit few single enemies in low level, crowd control in later level.

I actually agree with siaynoq, I was going to recommend that mobo too (coz i've been eyeing that mobo for awhile too :D).
but since OP asks to choose between the 2, and didn't ask for other board recommendation, then I'll say go for p8z68...

I have the same problem with OP and came across this post.
I have uPnP enabled and its slightly faster now
I reached my ISP speed limit now

Then I add the port forward thing after enabling uPnP but notice no difference
I wont disable uPnP now, since it works for me.
You (OP) can try enabling uPnP first, if it doesnt work then try the port forwarding.

If you want to learn/try to build a computer with 2G budget, then my suggestion is:

First buy off cheaper Intel Core parts whether its new or used.
then learn how to build a computer with it with less risk (in terms of money)
after you know how to built one, then wait until next ivy bridge processor is released, should be around Q2 2012 (shouldn't be far from D2 release :P)
Sell your excercise PC then build another one with the latest cpu/vga/mobo and everything else

overclocking wise, both motherboard are great for oc-ing
the difference are how they react with how you cool them.
if you plan to overclock with liquid nitrogen, ie subzero cooling, then you need to get that maximus.
otherwise, just go with the p8z68-v

I hate the part where they said to lower the expectation.
diablo 3 = the sign ?? or = the village ???
please dont, I dont wait 8+ years (or maybe the last 3-4 years since the announcement) for something mediocre.
I'm waiting day and night for a chance to get at least one beta key and they say the game is well, not awesome?

I'm still keeping my expectation up, and hopefully it's as good as (hopefully better) james cameroon avatar, or maybe terminator 2, or titanic.
