I freaking LOVE Lore of any game i play. I have looked up countless stories of games. BUT even if i love the lore i still love the action of the games so i think im half and half. after i beat the game and see the continuation of the story i'll be playing for the action
Don't get me wrong, i still have great toughs for Diablo 3 and i play Starcraft 2 from time to time. But i think Blizzard has fail in public management and publicity. I mean, since when is Diablo 3 announced to us? 2008, right?(i hope i didn't miss in the year ) Well, if you talk about a game that is sooooooooo far away from release date, why do you announce it? Its obvious people will get mad and angry if you hold the release date for 4 years. I think that was the great mistake for Blizzard. If game were to be announced in 2010(a little bit before beta) people will be in a different rage-stage, and it wouldn't have hurt the game in any way. That's something that's been on my mind for a while, i hope to hear thoughts
This doesn't really explain how they "failed" it only shows that you are getting tired of waiting just like many of us. The time between announcing the development of a game to the actual release isn't a factor to use to claim that blizzard has failed. No matter when they announce the development it will still be the same amount of time.
I have always made the "barbarian" type class in every game that has a "barbarian" option. It has been my favorite class to play especially since they are a melee type class. I just love the idea of being devastating up close while managing to take a few hits. And a big bonus to barbarians is when you use awesome looking weapons it looks more awesome than using a staff or a stick.
I would like to formally protest this post contest.
1.) People are just going to create multiple accounts in order to increase their odds of getting a key.
2.) The long time members are going to get flooded out by the newbs that are ONLY contributing for the key.
3.) The influx of new members normally creates an influx of repeat topics and questions that are often retarded as they are old old old news.
I am one of those people that created a new account to get a beta key, but that won't keep me from contributing constructive posts. The contest will make "newbs" create many accounts, but it won't do anything since they need to make constructive posts and I'm sure they aren't going to give it people with random posts. Also, people that made an account just for the key can still add to the community despite their initial intention.
