I haven't heard that they wouldn't really be focusing on balancing PVP in this game. Interesting thing to know. I never played Diablo or Diablo 2, but my roommate said that he loved PVP in Diablo 2, so I assumed it was a pretty big focus as well.
Do you think that the reason they are taking a stance in Diablo 3 is carrying over from their experience with WoW? It seems like every time they would try to buff a class for PVP in WoW they would either overdo it and make that class too strong for PVE or some how break the class so they were not doing as much damage in PVE.

Personally, I don't think we will see a release date until Guild Wars 2 gives a release date. The betas for Guild Wars 2 are also going on right now so I am thinking we will see very similar release dates.
